Story
Yzmas face looks mean, but reality she is such an affectionate cat. She loves to hang out with her fosters and get pet. She seems unphased by her fosters dog and 1 year old baby. Her fosters were told she was less then a year old, but do suspect her age maybe older. She is very mellow and only wants cuddles and to chill. She can be a little hissy at other cats, especially if they're too energetic and know no personal boundaries. Would do best with cats who are as chill as she is. ##2580637##

Story
Persia is a beautiful long haired, green eyed girl born in the spring of 2017. Persia will greet you at the door and rub her head against you in delight letting you know how happy she is to see you. She is a lap cat given the opportunity but is also content to lay near you or watch the birds while lounging in her cat tree. Persia loves to roll in catnip and snuggle with her little pink hippo. She had a bit of a tough start to life. She was found as a tiny kitten, dumped at a workplace, covered in maggots. Her finders got her good vet care and she recovered fully and kept her till recently. After getting a small dog, Persia's original owners decided she would do better in a new home. Persia is in a foster home with other cats and dogs. With slow introductions she is fine with dogs. She tolerates other cats but would likely be happiest as an only cat. Persia is such a sweet girl. She deserves a home where her personality can blossom and she can love and be loved fully.

Story
From foster: As much as I hate to see this beautiful girl go, Poppy is ready to begin the next chapter of her life with her forever family. She came to me completely shut down and terrified after struggling to acclimate at the shelter. In those early days she hid anywhere she could—under pillows, in corners, under blankets—any place that made her feel safe and unseen. With patience and gentle consistency, she slowly began to venture out, mostly at night at first, exploring her new space in tiny brave steps. After a couple of weeks, even though she still hid, she would come running the moment I entered the room, rubbing against my legs and flopping over for pets. That’s when her personality blossomed—suddenly talkative, affectionate, and purring nonstop. When I began introducing Poppy to my three resident cats, she amazed me. While my girls are generally indifferent to fosters (aside from a few expected, harmless hisses), Poppy took everything in stride. Within a short time, everyone was calmly coexisting, and she earned full access to the house. That’s when she truly came out of her shell. You would never guess she was once so frightened—today Poppy has zero fear, is incredibly playful, and loves being part of the action. She eats only dry food, uses the litter box perfectly, and absolutely adores being brushed (which is great, because she’s a total floof!). While she isn’t big on being carried, once she trusts you she’s more than happy to curl up in your lap for love. Poppy would thrive in a quieter home where she can adjust at her own pace. She would also benefit from an elevated spot or cat tree where she can perch and feel secure, especially by a window—she loves to relax and watch the world. If you have friendly resident cats, she’ll likely do wonderfully and may even find her new best friend. Poppy has come so far, and she’s ready. She’s sweet, brave, playful, and full of love—just waiting for the right person to let her shine.

Story
I adopted Hermione back in the beginning of April from a Facebook post. I have 2 older-ish cats that are best friends and I was hoping that I could add in a third. Specifically one with a bottlebrush tail. I picked her up from the vet where she had been fixed and gotten shots. The vet said she was about 2 years old and she only weighed 4lbs. For the first couple of weeks, I kept her in my room and the other 2 cats had the rest of the house. When I finally allowed the 3 to meet fully, there was the typical tension but I had hoped that it would eventually iron itself out. After several months of constant fighting between Hermione and Pinto, I realized I need to rehome her. I've given this 8 months and tried numerous calming methods (prescription medicine/calming sprays and plug-ins). It just seems to be getting worse. Hermione is a lovely cat. She is calm, loving, and is a cuddler. Unfortunately, my home isn't the best place for her. I hope to be able to find her the best home possible.
