Story
Tibbers is 10 years old. I got him and his brother, Minny, in 2014. He loves meeting people and will usually greet them vocally, and walk up to them to get pets. He loves playing with pencils and pens. Anytime they're left out he can spend tons of time batting them around. He will always let you know if his food bowl is half empty. He has fun popping bubbles & loves chin scratches. He LOVES catnip. He and Minny get along very well. Sometimes they will still groom each other which is really sweet. They are from the same litter and have always been together so they need to stay together. I am hoping to find a home for them that is quiet and stable. We've had to move around a lot and there's been inconsistency with housemates and other animals. They deserve to have a forever home where they are the stars of the show and don't have to compete for attention. Tibbers & Minny must go to the same home.

Story
Naomi is an adult, spayed female cat, probably born in 2022. She's quiet and gentle and keeps to herself in her colony room.  She doesn't hide, so she's not scared, just very self-contained.  She was spayed prior to arrival, so she was likely an owned cat or kitten at some point.  She was very matted when she arrived at the pound, so they shaved her - right now, she's very velvety and soft, but eventually she will grow and glamorous muted tortioseshell coat and be a stunning beauty.  April 12, 2024, 7:44 pm

Story
Roger is a neutered male cat, probably born in fall 2022.  He is a total babe...or a total baby, depending on how you view things.  Roger lives to be held and hugged.  If you are within arms-length of him, he will try to climb on you.  He loves to wrap his paws around your neck and be scooped up.  He is pretty light weight so you can easily carry him with one arm under his back legs, while her courteously counter-balances his weight on your neck.  And he can hang on tightly, even if you bend over, so don't worry about dropping him.  He's a great work out buddy, adding an extra 10 pounds to your daily strength training routine and he will chirp and whisper encouragement in your ear.  He's a little timid around larger cats and those with big personalities, but he seems to do well with other even tempered males.  Please come meet Roger.  He needs a hug. Update: Roger is staying with a foster mom for a bit because the shelter was too stimulating for him and he needs one-on-one time to feel better.April 12, 2024, 7:44 pm

Story
Loretta is an adult, spayed female cat, probably born early 2022.  She arrived with Lynn and Lucille.  They are former farm kitties who are learning about life indoors.  Loretta is the youngest; she's sweet but scared and we are working hard to help her feel secure.  She is getting very excited about pets and will come right out of her cubby when we offer to rub her head and cheeks.  April 12, 2024, 7:44 pm

Story
Oscar is an adult, neutered male cat, at least 12 years old, but we don't know exactly.  He is the most charming cat you have ever met.  He loves people, other animals, Jade Dragon cream cheese wontons, you name it.  He acts more like a dog than a cat, following us around talking constantly and wanting to sit on top of anything we work on.  He hates being alone and cries (loudly) when he feels abandoned (like if you close the door to the bathroom and he's not with you), so he may be best suited for a single-family household, rather than an apartment.  He would also love at least one work-from-home parent.  He doesn't charge a consulting fee: he'll be happy to give his two cents worth on conference calls. He has a chronic sneeze.  He's been treated multiple times over the years, and he's just a sneezy cat.  April 12, 2024, 7:44 pm
