Oliver is a sweet, gentle, kind, distinguished, even-keeled old soul who enjoys the simple things in life: a can of wet food, head scratches, a heated blanket, a Churu meat tube (or two or three) and your company. At this point in his life, comfort is his priority. He’s not the playful, go getter, up to no good type of cat - he’s much too old and wise for young shenanigans. Instead, he prefers to be snuggled up, taking the world’s longest cat nap, while you reside nearby. He’s a big guy and will take up most of the room on the bed, if you let him (and he really hopes you do). There is no curling up all cute or loafing about for Oliver; instead he sprawls and stretches out as much as possible. When he’s up and at ‘em, he will follow you around and be right beside you, but doesn’t feel the need to sit on your lap or be held. He may politely chit chat about his feelings in a soft, raspy, squeaky way. Oliver is very affectionate and curious and purrs as soon as you approach him, but is also very content all by himself. He has a Mr. Rogers energy about him, with his gentle, kind eyes, will be friends with anyone and everyone, and is very patient and non-confrontational. He would fit in well to almost any household, whether that be with cats, dogs, or considerate children. With his age, he may ask for little extra patience in return to make the best of his golden years. P.S. Though Oliver won’t keep you up at night getting into things he’s not supposed to, zooming around, or begging for food, he does snore sometimes. It’s incredibly cute and only a tad obnoxious. You’ve been warned!

Patsy (7 years old; Fiv+)  Patsy is a long-haired dilute torbie who is absolutely charming. She is sweet and friendly, and she enjoys asking you for some attention and finding out if she can be safe in your arms. A favorite activity is to follow you around and chatter animatedly to you. She wants to know what you are doing and what is happening in the household. She loves having clean water in her dish, and she has a cute habit of scooping the water up with one paw to lick it slowly off her toes. Soft beds and delicious treats are also favorites with her. Patsy would do well in a quiet home without too much commotion (older, considerate children only), as she can be timid when there is too much noise. Because Patsy is Fiv+, there are some special considerations to keep in mind if you adopt her, and our adoption counselors are waiting to fill you in should you want to take this lovable sweetheart into your home and your heart. Needs rehome ASAP! He loves to play with plstic bottles caps over toys, hes very sweet but also very timid and likes his space. He loves pets, suggles,kisses but if he gets overstimulated he will hiss at you, but he has never yet to swipe or scratch anyone ever (hes basically all talk). He loves to lay next to you in bed, he loves his stomach, back/butt petted and his face, hes fixed and up to date on shots, him nd my 13 yr old chihuahua were neutral with eachother and he does hiss at dogs but only when there scaring him(in his space) if the dog is calm he will come take a sniff. Hes mixed with pure main coon(father) and a random tabby cat(mother) he is deathly scared of female cats that are unspayed, due to past owner things trying breed him(bait him), hes never been around a male cat, but i think he’d be ok with a kitten POSSIBLY. He currently is growing back fur from when i got him because he was severely matted, so he really enjoys lots of brushing with plastic brush not metal.
