Story
🐦‍🔥Meet Phoenix – Rising from the Ashes to Find Her Forever Home Her name says it all. Like the mythical bird that rises from the ashes, Phoenix has overcome incredible hardships and is ready for a bright new beginning. After being tossed outside in a trailer park, while pregnant and neglected, Phoenix developed dental disease (requiring full extraction) — but her spirit never broke. This beautiful girl lovingly raised four kittens (who have all found homes), and now it’s her turn to soar. If you can’t adopt, please help by sharing her post! Phoenix is located in a foster home in the Columbus area, and she’s about 3 years old. She’s sweet, affectionate, and resilient, and she’s been fully vetted - spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and FIV/FeLV tested. We think she would prefer a home without other pets, but she tolerates the other cats in her current foster home. Her toothless smile only adds to her charm, but she has no issues eating food like a pro. If you’re looking for a companion who embodies strength, hope, and love, Phoenix is ready to rise into your life and heart. If you’re located in Ohio and you’re interested in meeting/adopting Phoenix, submit an application via our website. Note that a verifiable vet history is required. Applicants can also request to foster-to-adopt (meaning a cat can be fostered on a trial basis before making a decision to adopt). Email us with any questions - contactusforgotten4paws@yahoo.com

Story
We love Bosch and he came into our home in February 2025 a shy, timid boy. We loved him and socialized him, fed him healthy food and treats, kept his vet care current, and had so hoped he would be a baby brother to our established older female cat. Sadly, she has vocally expressed vehement opposition to this plan. He is affectionate, cautiously curious, and we think he wants a friend to play with. High energy and a very strong boy. He just needs some patience, some treats, and a home who will love him the way we wanted to.
