Story
Felicity is a silky long haired black and white female cat.  The vet determined that she is approximately 2 to 3 years old.  Felicity was fed by a woman who moved away and left a bag of cat food with the neighbor asking that she feed Felicity.  The neighbor called TNR because she had used up the bag and didn’t want to buy more.  Felicity was picked up by TNR and spayed so she does have an ear tip.  Felicity is playful and sweet.  She loves to be petted and loved.  Felicity likes toys, especially feathers on a string.  Felicity is a little bit shy, but warms up quickly.  She is looking for her forever home with a patient and loving family.  Please make her dreams come true and consider Felicity.  She would do well in a home with children over the age of 10.  Felicity is clean and litter box trained.  She is vaccinated and de-wormed and tested negative for feline leukemia/FIV.    If you would like to find out more about Felicity or to request an adoption application, please email us at bandocats@gmail.com  July 25, 2024, 10:20 am

Story
This is a courtesy post for a lady who must find homes for the cats, Daisy and O, that live in her apartment.  We are asking that Daisy and O be adopted as a pair. O is a gorgeous orange tabby who weighs 17 pounds and is declawed, vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and negative for feline leukemia/FIV. Daisy and O were separated to see if they could be adopted by themselves, but they both stopped eating and are a bonded pair who must have a home together. There is only one adoption fee for both of them.  Daisy was a stray who was fixed during a trapping project and has an ear tipped ear. The maintenance people later trapped Daisy and took her miles away to get rid of her and some of the other cats. Daisy found her way back home and showed up at the window looking for her family. The lady let her in and she has stayed inside ever since.   Daisy is a gorgeous long-haired tortoiseshell cat. Her hair is so soft. It is like little bunny fur. She is about 2 years old. She is fixed. She has had her vaccines updated, been microchipped, and treated with flea preventative. She did test positive for FIV or feline immunodeficiency virus.  Cats with FIV can live very long and happy lives. They cannot pass the virus on to other cats except by deep bites or from nursing moms passing the virus to their babies. Daisy has lived with two other cats, including O, for two years and both of them are negative. FIV positive cats can live with negative cats with no fear of passing it on to the other cats. A good article about FIV positive cats is below: https://www.vet.cornell.edu/departments-centers-and-institutes/cornell-feline-health-center/health-information/feline-health-topics/feline-immunodeficiency-virus-fiv Daisy is a little shy at first, but once she has warmed up to you, she is very loving.  If you would like more information on Daisy and O or to request an adoption application, please email us at bandocats@gmail.com  July 25, 2024, 10:20 am

Story
Meet Maybelline, a beautiful and sweet feline who’s just as glamorous as her name suggests! With an estimated date of birth of April 2, 2014, Maybelline was brought to our shelter on March 26, 2024, when her previous owner could no longer care for her. This stunning lady is spayed, vaccinated, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Maybelline’s appearance is nothing short of breathtaking. She sports a luxurious, long coat with a beautiful mix of brown and black tabby markings, accented by a pristine white chest and paws. Her striking green eyes are framed with a black rim that looks like she’s always wearing perfect eyeliner – talk about a natural beauty! It’s no wonder she’s named Maybelline, because with her "makeup" and long, luscious fur, she’s always ready for a photo shoot. Adding to her unique charm, Maybelline has a small left ear, which only adds to her distinctive and endearing appearance. It’s a feature that sets her apart and makes her even more special. Personality-wise, Maybelline is as sweet as she is curious. She loves exploring her surroundings and is always interested in what’s happening around her. If you’re looking for a gorgeous, affectionate cat with a playful side, Maybelline is your girl. Bring this glamour queen home, and let her add a touch of beauty and joy to your life! Come meet me at the cage-free Adoption Center!
