Story
Luna is a long hair tuxedo cat that is around 10 years old. She needs to be in a home with no other cats or dogs. She has lived with other cats previously but strongly prefers to be the only cat in the household. She has been around babies/toddlers and has never showed any signs of aggression. She will take awhile to warm up to you but she is a sweet cat. She likes to spend her days lounging around the house, usually on a couch or bed. She also likes to play with toys and use scratching boards. She has not been to the vet in a few years and will need updates on her shots. We will provide her preferred cat food upon adoption!

Story
April is a beautiful, shy girl who takes her time getting to know humans – but once she trusts you, she blossoms into a loving, purring companion. She has a soft spot for other cats and feels most at ease around furry friends, so a home with another friendly cat would be her dream. She absolutely adores wet food and can’t resist toys with feathers – they bring out her playful side! April has a wonderfully loud purr that kicks in when she’s comfy and being gently petted. She may be a little nervous at first, but with patience, she’ll reward you with loyalty, affection, and soft cuddles. If you’re someone with a calm home and a kind heart, April is ready to give hers to you. PLEASE NOTE: We will NOT adopt a single kitten into a home with no other cats unless it states in their listing that they are not good with cats and need to be an only cat. We prefer our little kittens are adopted in pairs or at least have another cat in the home to bond with. All of our rescues are FeLV/FIV tested, given age appropriate vaccines, spayed/neutered, and microchipped! Our adoption fee is $125 no matter age or breed. Visit Alabama's only nonprofit cat lounge, Cattyshack, Inc. Thursday-Saturday! Reservations required! cattyshackhsv.org @cattyshackhsv #rescueloungeadopt

Story
Annalina was living outside in a low income housing area trying to just survive on her own. She was taken in by a good samaritan who felt sorry for her as she was heavily pregnant. The rescue then took her in so she could have her babies safely in a warm and nurturing environment. All her babies have been adopted out and now she is almost ready to have her own family to love her forever. She was such a good momma and even cared for some other kittens that were orphaned! She has had a rough start to life and despite all that she is so loving and sweet. She loves to give kisses and craves attention. She is a dilute calico which means she is blue, orange, and white. Dilute calicos are not as common and being longer haired she is even more unique. Since she has longer hair she will need someone who is dedicated to brushing her regularly. She is friendly and gets along well with other animals. She will need to be slowly introduced into her new home if there is another cat since most cats are territorial. She is in a house with a lot of other cats and dogs so she is used to activity. She will be spayed on the June 23 and have her subsequent vaccines needed. She has been tested for Felv/FIV and is negative. Please call or text Kim to set up a a time to meet her. Please no emails . . 931-337-4199

Story
Name: Debra Barone Breed: Long-haired Tuxedo Royalty Occupation: Full-time diva, part-time menace, occasional philosopher Catchphrase: “I meow because I care… but not that much.” Bio: Debra Barone is a sophisticated lady of leisure who believes the litter box should clean itself, and dinner should be served on a porcelain dish (preferably warmed). With her piercing green eyes and flawless tuxedo fur, Debra exudes elegance, judgment, and just a sprinkle of chaos. She enjoys long naps in forbidden areas, knocking over water glasses to remind you who’s boss, and giving you the stink eye when you’re two minutes late with the kibble. Don’t let her fluffy exterior fool you—Debra runs the household with an iron (but adorable) paw. When she’s not busy napping in sunbeams or shedding exclusively on dark clothing, she’s probably plotting her next dramatic entrance. Yes, she has opinions. No, she’s not interested in yours. In her free time, Debra enjoys passive-aggressively ignoring toys you bought with love, judging your life choices, and purring exactly when it’s least convenient. Fun Fact: She once stared down a Roomba into submission. It’s still not over it.
