Story
We adopted Piper about 3 years ago. She is a beautiful long haired chunky domestic cat. Although she can be very shy and scared of new people/pets initially, she also is very loving and cuddly once comfortable. Unfortunately, Piper has never quite bonded to our household, and has experienced some behavioral issues due to that. Our concern is that she does not seem happy here. Our goal is to find Piper a different environment where she is happy and with a loving person/family. She has grown up with dogs and another cat, and is not bothered by them unless they are bothering her - and has never been aggressive towards them. Although she has lived with other animals - a one animal household could be better suited for her.

Story
Hi, I’m Smokey! I’m about 1½ years old and a super sweet, affectionate boy looking for my forever home.I am FeLV positive (feline leukemia virus). Right now it’s in a regressive stage, but it could become progressive in the future. I can only pass FeLV to other cats—not to people or other animals. Because of this, I need to be the only cat in the home or live with other FeLV-positive cats.I’m an indoor-only kitty, and that suits me perfectly because I love being around my humans. I’m very vocal—I like to “sing,” chirp, and tell you all about my day! I also love giving head butts and soaking up attention. I have so much love to give and can’t wait to share it with my new family.I may need a little patience while I adjust to a new environment, but once I’m comfortable, I’m as sweet as they come.If you’re looking for a loving, talkative companion, I could be your perfect match! 💙
