Story
I need a home for this sweet girl because one our our girls who supposedly couldn’t be spayed (is spayed now) escaped outside and surprised us with a litter. Since we already have 7 cats we are unable to keep up with the care of any more. She was born on August 22nd last year. She is very sweet and also independent. She used to be a bit timid but is now starting to warm up to people. She is very socialized with other cats but hasn’t encountered any other animals or kids yet. She also has never been outside. We haven’t been able to take her to a vet due to cost issues with all our other cats and responsibilities but there have never been any health concerns. I’d love for her to go to a home that can provide the care and attention she deserves. I wish we could keep her because she is very special to me since I helped mama birth her but we unfortunately just can’t keep any more at this time.

Story
Meet Annabel Contact us at SilverRescue@gmail.com for an application. Annabel is a beautiful Dilute Tortoiseshell. She may be mixed with the Main Coon breed. She is a silky longhair. She is approximately 3 yrs old and weighs around 11 lbs. She is sweet. She will meow sweetly for her food and petting or just to say Hello! She loves scratches between her ears and strokes along the top of her body but doesn't need much else. She loves sitting with you but is not much on laps. If you are a busy person who doesn't sit much, this may be the cat for you. She loves sitting in the window, she loves napping (what cat doesn't). She enjoys playing with her person with a feather wand but also easily entertains her self. Annabel is ok with older calm dogs but not active younger dogs. She coexists with them but does not snuggle with them. At first she is a little shy when meeting a new person or when put in unfamiliar places. But she is soon happy and loving once she knows she can trust you. If you’re interested in making sweet Annabel your own contact us at SilverRescue@gmail.com for an application. Annabel will be adopted to an inside only forever home. Application, references, vet check, home visit required. Annabel’s adoption donation of $100 will help the next needy kitty. Thank You!

Story
Hera was born in 2020. We got her when she was about 7 weeks old in Hermitage. She moved with us to Germany late 2020. She is a sassy girl that likes to talk back. She understands Spanish and English. She loves taking naps with us. We got her a sibling while in Germany and they just never got fully along. We moved back stateside with our family who has 2 dogs and 2 other cats. It seems to be too much of a high stress place and has been hard for her to adjust that she has become aggressive towards the other pets. It would only happen while she was in heat but she just got spayed and had another incident where she became very aggressive to our other cat. We are afraid of having her around our toddlers in case she becomes aggressive towards another pet & potentially tries to come towards our kids. We have given it time and by getting her spayed but have concluded that a new home with no pets would be the best for her. It guts us to part ways with her but know she is just not herself here.

Story
Mr. Chill is our gorgeous solid grey and white long haired handsome, young boy that is a miracle cat.  A vet that Critter Cavalry Rescue works with, called about Mr. Chill who was brought in to their clinic with a badly broken leg that required surgery and a pin in his leg.  The senior couple could not afford the surgery and they were going to euthanize this handsome boy.  Critter Cavalry Rescue paid the $1,000 bill to fix his leg and save his life.  He was worth it !!!!  His regular name was Cloudy but we nicknamed him Mr. Chill.  He has been healing so nicely and getting friendlier and snuggly the past 3 weeks since we picked him up from the vet’s office after surgery.  He greets his foster mom at the door in the morning, ready for her to pick him up and hold him over her shoulder.  He wants lots of head scratches, please!  He has started walking on all four legs now, but he still travels with a slight limp in his giddy-up.  Thankfully all the nerves in his paw seem to be intact and we marvel at what a trouper he has been!  As you can see from his good looks , he is also a gentleman and has been so tolerant of the other younger and more energetic kitten in the cat room of the house.  He has never hurt her; he hasn’t even growled to ask her to please quiet down and behave.  He just embraces the fun.  Mr. Chill is all that and more….such gentle boy.  He is  destined to become a lap cat, not because he has to, but because he wants to.  Purring is guaranteed with his adoption and at no extra charge!   Please write to us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   April 13, 2024, 11:08 pm
