I am a little more cautious than my brother & best bud, Muffin, but I'll purr as soon as you look at me. I am great with other kitties and all ages of people! I am a little nervous with dogs but with a slow introduction I'm fine with them, it just takes me time to warm up. Muffin and I are a package deal! We play, sleep & cuddle together all the time and we can't imagine life without each other. Minnie Bay is seeking her fur-ever soulmate. This gentle kitten enjoys a one-on-one relationship. Minnie Bay can be a little shy when she meets new people (arent we all!), but once she is comfortable, she is so loving and her purr will melt your heart. Through the time she has been in my care, she slowly began to seek affection, rolling over on her back and purring. Once you have won her heart, you can count on her at all times. Minnie Bay has been diagnosed with a possible mild form of CH. But this has not stopped her from running or climbing up her cat condo, or keeping up with her siblings. Minnie Bay got her name from my grandmother who also started out life in a rough manner. Part of a poem I wrote about my grandmother goes like this - There was a ship whose name she bore, this lass named Minnie Bay, through darkened shores of life emerged as sunshines gentle ray…. Meet Severus Snape! Here is a cat named Severus; Many think of him as decorous; With his surname of Snape; And his menacing black cape; It’s delightful to find he’s amorous! This boy is always happy to see you, and his waving tail will show it. Severus Snape is an all black cat with long fluffy fur and a slight light grey undercoat in some spots with beautiful green eyes. He is an affectionate kitty who loves to give soft head bumps as if he is giving you a kiss. Mr. Snape is a playful dude and has a lot of energy. It is fun to watch andplay with him. His absolute favorite toy is a rope or a fleece strip tied to a wand with a small toy on the other end to bounce around — this cat can jump high and he’s so graceful when flying through the air. Again he is very playful! Now Severus Snape IS NOT fond of other cats; he doesn’t know how to cat-socialize. His foster mom thinks he was dumped in the neighborhood because he was found in a side yard howling and very afraid but still approachable. That is how he found his foster home and came to CAWS for adoption. Severus has been around two large dogs, and while he was not afraid of them, but they didn’t approach him much either. Mr Snape will do better in a home with older teensand adults with no other cats. He may be shy or grumpy at first, but once he knows you, he longs for your attentionand love. Hi there - my name is Zaro! I have one of the cutest faces that you've ever seen with a strong chin that looks like I may have some Persian genes. I love to eat & I really like crunchy treats. I came to CAWS after being found by a nice couple that wanted to keep me & even took me to their vet. I tested positive for FIV, which really isn't a big deal, but they had indoor/outdoor cats & I need to be an indoor only boy. I can live successfully with other cats as long as we get along & we get our regular vet care. But honestly, I believe I would prefer to be an only cat so I don't need to be defensive & or worry about sharing your attention. I've haven't been around dogs or kids so I don't know what I think about them. MEET TONYA! This sweet girl is ready to live her best life! She enjoys window watching, loves attention and is very playful. We rescued her from a sad situation and she does seem to be afraid of men so it will take time to build trust for her with men. She can be nervous at times so she needs a cat savvy human in a calm home. She would be a great companion! She is a little bit of a door dasher so someone who will take the time to make sure she is always remains an indoor cat is really important! Meet Meow! Meow is a playful, happy and silly boy who needs a human that will love him, keep him on the food we have found works best for him, and stay in contact with us (since we love him). We know he will do best as the only pet, and in a home without little kids as he can get overstimulated. However, he gives clear signs when he has had enough. Meow will play like a kitten and is a very special cat that would be an excellent companion for a cat-savvy human! This handsome boy has been with us for quite some time and he is amazing despite his chronic rhinotracheitis. However, we have resolved this condition to the absolute best point through excellent veterinary care. Meow has seen many specialists and has a unique condition where he has an overgrowth of tissue at the tip of his nose, which makes him sound congested at times. He takes a daily supplement from Pet Wellbeing that has worked wonders for him. Meow has had a rhinoscopy and has no issues beyond his nose tip. Therefore, he does not require any other intensive medical care. Keeping him well is top priority since Meow is FIV+. Despite this, he is a very healthy boy!

ADOPT RUSTY! Rusty is one of our special needs boys! He has moderate CH (cerebral hyperplasia) which means he is a bit unsteady on his feet and has balance issues at times but it doesn't hold him back in the least! Rusty is playful with a silly, tiny but mighty attitude. He loves lower cat trees and would do best in a non-carpeted home. His condition is neurological, it is not degenerative nor does it cause him pain. He just needs some special accommodations and he will repay you with a great amount of love & joy. He does require a low entry, high back and sides litter pan, puppy pads around his box as sometimes his balance challenges can cause him an occasional spill. However, he uses his box & pad faithfully and is a great boy! Rusty has great cat manners! We would actually include his litter box and cute teepee loves to nap in!! Rusty would prefer to be your one and only. He's a sweet boy who's been waiting for a stable home that can stay in communication with us and give updates! He needs a human who will spend time with him outside, who has a very secure backyard, fully fenced that has time for supervised visits outside. HE LOVES his supervised outdoor time and hops like a little deer! He would also love a single level catio. Rusty has out of control movements so young children who can't predict them and try to pick him up might get accidentally scratched but we're easily able to handle him wound-free and he tolerates nail trims though his nails should be kept a bit longer for balance. He is actually very good with kids but they need to be old enough to understand his special needs. He is a curious, intelligent boy who wants to constantly go and explore, but he makes time for cuddles everyday. Rusty is very sweet and deserves all the loves! He will be your fav Netflix buddy! Loves to sleep under the blankets too!

*LOCATED IN OREM* We have a lot of stray cats come by, but Black Jack is the only one who’ll come up and let me pet him. I say him, but I don’t know if it’s male or if it’s been spayed/neutered, and I don’t have the money to take them to the vet. I can pick him up, no problem. I can tell he really wants a home and wants to come inside, but I can’t since I have a cat that DEFINITELY doesn’t want him inside (and I can only have one pet). If you even have the resources to foster him, you could make a real big impact on this cat’s life. He might be skittish at first, but if you give him some wet food, he’ll (or she’ll) love you forever. I consider this to be somewhat urgent since it’s only getting colder outside.
