Story
Hello, I'm Molly. I am a beautiful petite calico with striking yellow eyes and a delightful personality. I enjoy toy mice, lasers, feather toys, as well as towers, scratching posts and cozy places to sleep. I am always curious about things around me and will have fun exploring my new home. I especially like it when my foster mom sits on the floor to play and feed me treats and Churus so I can sit on her lap for loves and pets. Molly is making a lot of progress in learning to trust human contact. She would like her new family to help her continue this progress through patience and love. She would do best with adults who have previous cat experience. She would be ok with older children/teens who will respect her boundaries. She lives in a foster home with several cats and a small dog, and is never far from her calico sister, Mary. She gets a lot of reassurance from being near her. Molly and Mary are a very bonded pair and must be adopted together. Story
Meet Smokey! This handsome boy can be a little timid at first, but with patience and time he comes out of his shell and turns into a total snuggle bug. One of his adorable quirks is suckling on soft blankets while sitting on your lap—it’s his favorite comfort habit.Smokey would do best as the only pet in a calm home and does well with children 12 and older. Once he’s comfortable, he loves to play too—especially running in and out of his pop-up tunnel. He does have a special diet for urinary health, which he does great with. With a little patience and a lot of love, Smokey will be the sweetest, cuddliest companion you could ask for. Story
Hi! My name is Morticia. I can be a little shy at first but once we are friends I have a loud and frequent purr! I love when people pet, scratch and brush my silky soft fur. I especially love a good lap to settle into & will nearly burrow myself into your armpit to get as close as possible. I love the teaser toy and will play with that for hours. Wet food is sure to make you my fast friend. My brother, Gomez, & I were returned to CAWS when our mom had to enter memory care. We were very close as kittens but as we gotten older we've become more independent. We think it would be wonderful to be able to be adopted together but if you only have room for a single cat, please still take a look at us. Story
My name is Tia & I'm a very beautiful lady with silky soft fur. I can be a bit timid so babies & young children are scary but older ones that will pet me gently and play with me are lovely. I sometimes play but I'm satisfied with getting attention, lounging in the sun from the window or napping in a cat bed. Dogs are also scary, I've met a couple and there were just over the top! Treats & canned food are some of the best things in life. Even though my coat is long, I keep it very nice & shiny with self grooming but enjoy being brushed. I live with other cats in my foster home & we get along well but I'm the kind of gal that would happy being your only cat too. Story
Mimi aka Momma kitty, came to CAWS as a teenage mom. She was very scared and nervous and took a little longer to settle in than most cats but has become very sweet and loving and has even become motherly to incoming newborn kittens in her foster home. She is still young and very playful. She would also do well on her own in a calm household. If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at https://caws.org/adoption-applicationMarch 8, 2026, 6:31 am

Meet Lady Catherine! This gorgeous long-haired black kitty is as elegant as her name suggests. Lady loves to play and will happily chase toys or zoom through cat tunnels. She also enjoys relaxing while you brush her silky coat, which is a major source of pride. She gets along well with other cats when introduced slowly and properly, making her a great fit for a loving home with furry friends. Lady is a confident girl who knows what she likes, and she’ll let you know if something isn’t her cup of tea. If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate companion (with a dash of sass), Lady Catherine is ready to rule your heart!
