Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Enid's adoption fee is $75. Many cats do so much better in pairs, which is why we offer a reduced adoption fee of $25 for the second cat (or more!).Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Interested in this animal? The first step is an application, which can be completed at www.cvrrescue.org/adoption-applications/. The adoption fee helps cover a portion of the care provided for our animals, including spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm testing for dogs, FeLV/FIV combo testing for cats, deworming, age-appropriate vaccines (including rabies vaccine), and any medical care received while in our care. All cats and dogs are on flea/tick and parasite prevention for the duration of foster care. Notes about puppies: Adopters can expect a new puppy to have accidents, chew things they shouldn't, and have other normal, energetic puppy issues until they are trained, including jumping, mouthing, and general youthful naughtiness. If you experience puppy issues, please feel free to contact us; we’re happy to offer guidance. Also, if a puppy is a mixed breed, we cannot guarantee an adult weight. If your residence has weight restrictions or if you’re looking for a specific adult weight, we don't recommend applying for a mixed-breed puppy. We also offer rehoming services for pets currently owned by individuals. In these cases, we list the animal as a courtesy to the owner, and the animal is not currently in the care of CVRR, such that we can make no representation or guarantee of the animal’s behavior, demeanor, or health assessment. All information listed for a courtesy-posted animal is provided by the current owner and should be verified by any potential adopter. CVRR is a nonprofit organization. We have no paid staff, and all applications are reviewed and processed by our volunteers. Please be patient and understand that it may take 7-14 days to process your application, check your references, and gather follow-up info. You can expedite the process by providing accurate phone numbers and email addresses for your vet and landlord references, and by answering each question fully. Once your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if the animal picks you, too. If it seems the adoption will be a good match for all, we will collect the adoption fee and complete the adoption contract. CVRR is a NO KILL rescue organization, and we have a LIFETIME COMMITMENT to all of our animals. If for any reason the adoption does not work out, the animal must be returned to CVRR. We will reevaluate the animal and choose a new home based on the best fit for it. December 14, 2025, 11:24 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Mochi & Matcha – Bonded Brothers Seeking a Safe Haven   Meet Mochi & Matcha! This charming pair of one-year-old grey boys were once friendly strays, but their personalities are far too warm and affectionate to stay outdoors much longer. Their current caretaker has lovingly vetted and cared for them, but now it’s time they find their forever indoor home—together.   Mochi (Short Hair, 6lbs) Neutered & vaccinated, this mellow sweetheart is affectionate, loves lap time, and wants nothing more than to be close to his person. He’s social, sweet, and a true biscuit-maker.   Matcha (Long Hair, 8lbs) Also neutered and fully vetted, Matcha is a gentle soul—more independent and cautious at first, but he’s vocal, affectionate, and deeply bonded to his brother. While not a fan of being picked up, he’ll be your shadow once he trusts you.   &#226&#156&#133 Both boys:   Friendly with other cats Not tested with dogs or children Clean bill of health: Negative for FIV/FeLV/Heartworms Revolution-treated, rabies + HCP vaccinated Not confirmed litter trained but have been calm and curious when indoors   Their caregiver says: “They’re too sweet for life outdoors. I live between a busy road and highway—these boys deserve safety, love, and a warm home to call their own.”   Located in Central Virginia Apply to adopt: friendsofcampbellcounty.org &#226&#154&#160&#239&#184&#143 Please note: FOAC has not met these cats and cannot guarantee behavior or health beyond what’s reported by the current caregiver.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 9, 2025, 10:53 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. We are so happy that Devanna and her sister Willow can be in a foster home together while they wait for someone to give them a forever home. They were in a loving home for many years before they came to us, and that is what we want for them again. The girls are getting over an upper respiratory infection, and it really took them down. Their new Foster Mom says they are delightful! They are willing to be petted, enjoy grooming, and are quite happy to be doted upon in her house. Eight-year-old Willow and her house companion Davanna were adopted from FOAC several years ago, and we were surprised to find they had been surrendered to a neighboring open admission shelter rather than returned to FOAC. We were happy to get them back into our care and we are taking care of them so they will be able to find homes. Willow needed a quick groom after arrival because she was matted around her rear end and around her belly. (We have high praise for the vet assistants at Altavista Veterinary Hospital who were able to remove mats and take care of her without sedation.) it is always hard for senior cats to be brought into a shelter where they are put into a 2 x 2 cage and can’t move, and we hope that we can soon allow Davanna to get out and move around more easily, and reunite with her sister. Davanna would love to have a home where she can go and live out the rest of her years. She just needs to be updated with a rabies vaccine, and is FelvFiv  negative.     PLEASE NOTE: This pet has been posted by Friends of Campbell County Animal Control, Rustburg, VA. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Eight-year-old Willow and her house companion Devanna are so happy to be in the care of a foster family while they wait for a home of their own again.  We are so blessed to have a devoted volunteer who saw a need and immediately acted on it in order to help two lovely cats find true happiness. Despite her fluffiness, Willow is quite petite. Her foster mom says she is especially fond of the man in the house, and likes to follow him around wherever he goes. she has begun playing with toys for short period, as if it’s something totally new to her. We look forward to watching her progression.     “The girls” were adopted from FOAC several years ago, and we were surprised to find they had been surrendered to a neighboring open admission shelter rather than returned to FOAC. Story
Cruella is a cat with as much personality as her weight. She’s a larger cat due to a single food bowl and not supervising meal times. She’s loves blankets and loves to be around the owner. She will get the wild side every now and again and get the zoomies which is hilarious. She’s not a huge fan of dogs but can’t exist in a household with them, and does enjoy playing with other cats now and again. She was raised as a kitten in a household with cats and young children and is very friendly to people and children above the infant stage. Any younger and she will try and keep her distance.
