Dixon is a handsome 4-year-old boy who was recently surrendered when his owner developed allergies. He’s neutered, microchipped, and fully ready for a new start. Shelter life has been hard on him—he’s not happy here—but in a quiet home with patience and love, he truly thrives. Dixon is a gentle soul who just wants to feel loved again.

Story
Vixen is an 8-year-old sweetheart with a gentle, loving soul. She came to us as a stray in very poor condition and was emaciated when she arrived, but with care and love she is now gaining her weight back and doing wonderfully. Vixen is incredibly sweet and affectionate and is more than ready to leave her past behind and settle into a warm, loving home where she can be cherished. Vixen is not spayed yet, so she is only available to Pittsylvania County or Danville City residents at this time. She’s hoping her next chapter is filled with comfort, kindness, and lots of love.

Story
Cruella is a cat with as much personality as her weight. She’s a larger cat due to a single food bowl and not supervising meal times. She’s loves blankets and loves to be around the owner. She will get the wild side every now and again and get the zoomies which is hilarious. She’s not a huge fan of dogs but can’t exist in a household with them, and does enjoy playing with other cats now and again. She was raised as a kitten in a household with cats and young children and is very friendly to people and children above the infant stage. Any younger and she will try and keep her distance.

This charming pair of one-year-old grey boys were once friendly strays, but their personalities are far too warm and affectionate to stay outdoors much longer. Their current caretaker has lovingly vetted and cared for them, but now it’s time they find their forever indoor home—together.   Mochi (Short Hair, 6lbs) Neutered & vaccinated, this mellow sweetheart is affectionate, loves lap time, and wants nothing more than to be close to his person. He’s social, sweet, and a true biscuit-maker.   Matcha (Long Hair, 8lbs) Also neutered and fully vetted, Matcha is a gentle soul—more independent and cautious at first, but he’s vocal, affectionate, and deeply bonded to his brother. While not a fan of being picked up, he’ll be your shadow once he trusts you.   &#226&#156&#133 Both boys:   Friendly with other cats Not tested with dogs or children Clean bill of health: Negative for FIV/FeLV/Heartworms Revolution-treated, rabies + HCP vaccinated Not confirmed litter trained but have been calm and curious when indoors   Their caregiver says: “They’re too sweet for life outdoors. I live between a busy road and highway—these boys deserve safety, love, and a warm home to call their own.”   Located in Central Virginia Apply to adopt: friendsofcampbellcounty.org &#226&#154&#160&#239&#184&#143 Please note: FOAC has not met these cats and cannot guarantee behavior or health beyond what’s reported by the current caregiver.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 9, 2025, 10:53 am

Not good with kids, Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Pros: 1) Cuddlebug. Loves a lap and will come purring into your arms if you are comfortably seated 2) Softest cat you'll ever touch 3) Makes the cutest little chirps and trills when she sees you 4) Rabies shot up-to-date Challenges: 1) chronic inappropriate urination 2) aggressive at the vet 3) unahppy with other cats. Belle needs to go to a single-cat home where the human is better able to handle her. The only behavioral modification I have not tried is Prozac, which I think could help but I can't get her to take. An experienced cat pill-er would be great!
