Story
Meet Jack, one of the kittens rescued last summer in very bad shape. His condition was touch and go for a few days upon intake, but after several weeks of care, he is doing generally well. Due to his rough start in life, he does struggle with recurring eye infections, but is a happy, cuddly boy who loves to be pet. He is always eager to curl up at your feet. This gentle, resilient guy is ready for his new home.

Story
This incredibly handsome little fella is Teddy. He's one of the older kittens we decided to try to tame and not send back to the feral colony. He is taming down beautifully but definitely needs a patient and understanding home. He will allow you to pet him and pick him up for a minute but scrambles to be released. He's a shy and quiet kitty, loves other cats but is not fond of dogs. His ideal home would be adults only, or older children that are not loud and boisterous. He needs a home that will allow him to acclimate and go off and hide until he feels comfortable. He may never be a lap cat but time will tell. A home with another kitty or two would be extremely beneficial to help him gain confidence and learn the ropes.

Story
Meet Ghost - A Serene Soul in Search of a Quiet Haven! Step into the presence of Ghost, a graceful ten-year-old feline who embodies tranquility and serenity. Ghost is not just a cat; she's a refined lady seeking a peaceful retirement home where she can share her gentle spirit and love with a kind and patient family. Personality: Ghost, with her mature grace, tends to favor the art of lounging over energetic play. She is rarely playful, preferring to embrace the calm and laid-back lifestyle befitting her golden years. Despite occasional shyness and moments of fearfulness, Ghost's curiosity and gentle demeanor shine through. Social Interaction: This demure lady gets along with some cats and appreciates the company of dogs. Ghost, although initially shy and inclined to hide, warms up beautifully with time and patience. Her preference for tranquility makes her a suitable companion for a quiet household. Play Preferences: Ghost is not one for toys, but she finds solace and joy in observing the world from a cozy window perch. Her love for lounging is evident, and she treasures the simple pleasures of a serene environment. Interaction with People: Ghost may be new to being around people, but with slow introductions and gentle handling, she is making remarkable progress. This elegant lady absolutely adores being brushed and pampered, melting into bliss with every stroke. She's a cuddle enthusiast and, in particular, delights in having her belly scratched and rubbed. Adoption Considerations: Ghost's ideal home is one that embraces peace and tranquility, making her a perfect fit for a quiet household. While she hasn't been exposed to children, Ghost's gentle nature suggests she would thrive in an environment with older, understanding family members. Her love for being pampered and brushed makes her an ideal companion for those seeking a low-maintenance yet affectionate cat. In Summary: Ghost is not just a cat; she's a timeless soul seeking a serene haven in her golden years. If you're ready to offer a patient and loving home to a feline companion who appreciates the beauty of quiet moments, Ghost is waiting to grace your life with her gentle presence. Come meet Ghost, and let the tranquility begin! Ghost has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative with the feline triple SNAP test.

Story
Maddie was brought to us in pretty rough shape.  The emergency physician felt she had been under a hood of a car when she sustained facial injuries.  Upon additional evaluation, it was felt Maddie also had a severe sinus infection.  She had her sinus drained and some teeth pulled.   Nearly a month has passed and Maddy has made a lot of improvement.  Her facial swelling is gone, and her facial wounds have healed nicely.  She is eating well on her own and is no longer on medication.  Now she is in need of her forever home.  We feel a quieter home would suit Maddy best.  She is spayed and her shots are being updated. May 1, 2024, 2:24 pm
