Story
Name: Static Age: 2 years old Sex: Neutered Male Breed: Domestic Longhair Traits: Good with other cats, kids (unknown with dogs) Fee: $150. Our cats come vet checked, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and preventative treatment for fleas/ticks/worms. About Me: Static was surrendered to the rescue because of a divorce and they could no longer take proper care of him. Static has a neurological issue which makes him wobble when he walks. Besides his wobble, static does not act like there's anything wrong with him. The rescue tried a few different routes of treatment to see if he would improve, but Static will likely have the wobble for the rest of his life. He is otherwise a healthy cat. He is the friendliest cat and he absolutely loves to climb into anyone's lap that is available for cuddles. He loves toys just like any other cat, especially catnip filled toys! Static needs to go to a home that he would be able to be kept away from stairs and other high climbable surfaces. While he cannot jump, he will still try to climb cat trees and stairs and we would not want him to hurt himself. Static likes other cats, however they are sometimes a bit afraid of him at first. We have not had Static around dogs, but we think that he would do ok with a slow and proper introduction and he was around dogs in his previous home. Story
Meet Unicorn Birthday: 5/17/24 Sex: Spayed Female Breed: Domestic Longhair Traits: Good with other cats, (unknown with dogs) Fee: $150 for one kitten or $250 for two. Our kittens come vet checked, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and preventative treatment for fleas/ticks/worms. About Me: Someone in Antioch reached out about a mom cat that was living underneath their house in the crawlspace with 7 kittens. Eventually we were able to catch all 7 siblings and mom! Unicorn is one of the fluffiest of her litter. Unicorn can be shy until she gets to know you, and she will likely be slow to adjust to a new home. Unicorn loves to play with other kittens and string toys! She also is a HUGE fan of her wet food, and loves feeding time. Lickable treats will make her love you. She has been in a foster home with other fosters and they have gotten along fine. We have not had Unicorn around any dogs, but we think she would do ok with a slow and proper introduction. We think she would do best in a home without children or with older respectful children only. If you are interested in adopting, please visit linktr.ee/guttercatadoptions to find our application. You can also email guttercatadoptions@gmail.com with any questions. An online application must be filled out to be considered.October 15, 2024, 11:16 am

Story
*I'm part of the Home for the Holidays promotion beginning November 11. Check our the Adoption Procedure & Fees page to learn more!* After the very short time I needed to adjust to a new routine and environment, my family said that I was very affectionate and loving. I can be active and playful but I’m also happy relaxing and getting loved…and brushed. I sometimes hang out in the kitchen, swatting at the water from the faucet, during cleaning time. If you are looking for a friendly and gentle cat and only want to live with one cat, then I think I may be your perfect cat.

Story
Beauty and brains? Shirley has them both! Shirley is about 3.5 years old with long silky black fur and amazing eyes. When she first arrived at her foster home, Shirley wasn't so sure what to expect. After spending a little time behind the scenes observing the people and animals, she decided it was a good place to be. WE believe Shirley would be happiest in a quiet home where she can get lots of attention and love. She is very good with other cats. Shirley enjoys sleeping with her foster parents and watching the wildlife from her cat tree._________________________________________________________________________Adoption Donation for Shirley is $ 200.00WANT TO MEET ShirleyThe first step would be for you to go to our website at www.aear.org and then to the “Adopting a Pet” page to read about our Adoption Process which will answer many of your questions and then to fill out an Adoption Application. Also, please visit our very active Facebook Page for updates on Shirley and our other adoptable pets with AEAR - www.facebook.com/aear.orgAll our animals available for adoption are living in foster homes. Story
You don't have to be a math wiz to know that Algebra is a perfect 100! He went from being a terrified cat that was dumped in a park to a loving, sweet boy. When he first arrived, Algebra was a matted mess and not too thrilled with humans. Who can blame him?! He has turned out to be an amazing, snuggly cat who thrives on human companionship. Of course, he has to get to know you first. Algebra is confident and he knows what he likes and what he does not like. Going to the vet and being in a cage is on his list of not likes. He has many likes, including cuddle time with his foster parents. When he is content, Algebra has a a nice, loud purr. He tolerates the other cats in his foster hone._________________________________________________________________________Adoption Donation for Algebra is $ 200.00WANT TO MEET AlgebraThe first step would be for you to go to our website at www.aear.org and then to the “Adopting a Pet” page to read about our Adoption Process which will answer many of your questions and then to fill out an Adoption Application. Also, please visit our very active Facebook Page for updates on Algebra and our other adoptable pets with AEAR - www.facebook.com/aear.orgAll our animals available for adoption are living in foster homes. Story
Meet Moma! Moma was the Mama of the Museum litter and raised 4 gorgeous, precious kittens who were all adopted quickly. She was such a good mom to them and now anytime she hears kitten videos on my phone, she comes running to help! She’s an absolute sweetheart and still a kitten at heart. Moma loves to play with her toys, cuddle, and sleeping next to her foster mom and dog in bed. Moma is an affectionate young girl, who loves her foster mama, her dog and her male cat but prefers a smaller, close knit family. She occasionally gets into tiffs with the other 2 female resident cats, but 3 female energies in one house may just be too much for her! However we believe she could do well with 1 other female cat! (or male cats in general) The point is she`d love a fur-sibling, cat or dog! Some of Moma`s other favorite ways to pass time are eating yummy greenies treats and her favorite Churu treats!! She loves dry and wet food and is litter box trained. Follow our Facebook for more updates as my foster gets to know me!Adoption fee: $150All cats/kittens have been fully vetted including spay/neuter, micro-chipping, worming, heartworm testing and preventative treatment, flea/tick preventative, and all required age appropriate vaccinations. Our adoption process requires the submission of an application. Applications and Adoption Rules can be found on our website, on the `HOW TO ADOPT` tab on our website at JRsPupsNStuff.org. Upon receipt of the completed application, we will process the application including: contact with your veterinarian and landlord. Please be sure to include the contact information for your vet as we will call. If your vet requires an information release, please be sure to contact them as soon as you submit your application. We are a group of volunteers with families and jobs, so please be patient and allow a few days for our response.
