Story
Hello,My name is Jack. I was brought to the shelter with my friend Walter when our owner passed away. We are spending time in our own condo in the office at the shelter. Kind of nice to be the first seen when you walk in! My friend Walter likes to take up the whole cubby for himself. Not cool! But I push my way in and lay next to him. We would like to find a retirement home for the both of us to live out our days. We had bloodwork done and it says we can live many more years!Ask about us today!

Story
Meet Penelope! This tortie darling will melt your heart. More sweet than sass, she is on the bashful side, but warms up quickly and becomes more talkative as she settles in.  She loves snuggles, head and back scratches, and batting around her toys. And let's face it, she’s a beauty! And soft. So soft.  She welcomes being brushed and needs it to keep that pretty coat shining.   Penelope is looking for someone who can embrace her extra needs. She has periodontal disease and had several teeth extracted, but a recent veterinary exam showed her to be in good health and is not currently in need of a dental, but may be required in the future due to her condition. She also has a sensitive tummy and is on prescription hydrolyzed protein food, which she eats up like a champ.     Penelope hasn’t shown much interest in befriending her fosters’ resident, but may be able to coexist with another chill cat given a slow introduction.  She may do best in a low-energy household, but who knows how bright this star can shine! Approximate DOB: 2016 Foster Home Location: Milwaukee    If you are interested in adopting one of our wonderful cats or kittens, you can apply on our website: https://www.commcat.org/copy-of-adopt-a-bff     Please allow several days for us to process your application. We are a small, all-volunteer group and we are doing our best to work quickly! After the application is processed we will make arrangements for you to meet the cats that interest you. All of our cats and kittens are raised in our homes and live with us until they are adopted. They live with us as part of our families so we know them very well and we can help you find your perfect cat! Cats are rarely caged (only if its medically necessary) so you can visit with them and see how they act in a home. &#226&#128&#139 Our adoption fees: Kittens (under 6 months): $150 (or 2 for $225) Adults (6 months to 7 years): $75 (or 2 for $100) Seniors (8 years and up): $40 (or 2 for $60)     All cats are spayed or neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, vaccinated for rabies (if age appropriate) and distemper, and microchipped.May 5, 2024, 8:47 pm

Story
Meet Moma! Moma was the Mama of the Museum litter and raised 4 gorgeous, precious kittens who were all adopted quickly. She was such a good mom to them and now anytime she hears kitten videos on my phone, she comes running to help! She's an absolute sweetheart and still a kitten at heart. Moma loves to play with her toys, cuddle, and sleeping next to her foster mom and dog in bed. Moma is an affectionate young girl, who loves her foster mama, her dog and her male cat but prefers a smaller, close knit family. She occasionally gets into tiffs with the other 2 female resident cats, but 3 female energies in one house may just be too much for her! However we believe she could do well with 1 other female cat! (or male cats in general) The point is she'd love a fur-sibling, cat or dog! Some of Moma's other favorite ways to pass time are eating yummy greenies treats and her favorite Churu treats!! She loves dry and wet food and is litter box trained. Follow our Facebook for more updates as my foster gets to know me!Adoption fee: $150All cats/kittens have been fully vetted including spay/neuter, micro-chipping, worming, heartworm testing and preventative treatment, flea/tick preventative, and all required age appropriate vaccinations. Our adoption process requires the submission of an application. Applications and Adoption Rules can be found on our website, on the "HOW TO ADOPT" tab on our website at JRsPupsNStuff.org. Upon receipt of the completed application, we will process the application including: contact with your veterinarian and landlord. Please be sure to include the contact information for your vet as we will call. If your vet requires an information release, please be sure to contact them as soon as you submit your application. We are a group of volunteers with families and jobs, so please be patient and allow a few days for our response.
