Story
Van must have been on his own for awhile. Although he is playful, his favorite thing is to be pet and snuggled. He`s very nervous to be picked up and fast movements startle him. He`ll need a quiet adult home. Understanding teens might be ok. It might be a long time if ever that this boy won`t feel there are monsters around every corner. He will need some help keeping his hair looking it`s best. He sometimes wakes up with the worst bed head, but it`s so darn cute!

Story
Previously living as an outdoor kitty, Gizmo has shown while he still has some learning to do, he is happily looking for a forever home indoors. He has shown to be friendly, loving and smart enough to recognize his name or nickname `Gizzy`. He spent some time in a home environment prior to us where he showed to enjoy following his person around the home (including to the restroom), short periods of brushing, chin and head scratches, naps with his people and a variety of toys with cloth mice being his favorite. Gizmo also likes to paw and meow when he is looking for attention or wanting to play. He`s very good at using his litterbox but is still learning the appropriate places to scratch. Gizmo previously lived with one other older feline but we do not know how he feels about kids or dogs. As Gizmo is still prone to gentle love nips and occasionally reaching for feet, older children may be best if any. Gizmo did test positive for FIV.Please note:- Our website (www.neenahanimalshelter.org) is updated in real time, so we are accepting applications for all animals that are currently listed.-Applications can be downloaded from our website. Story
Baby Boo was previously located in a foster home, here are a few words from her foster:`Baby Boo is the one long haired orange and white beauty in the litter. She is GORGEOUS and she knows it! She will purr, sleep and play in your lap with her siblings for hours if you let her. She can be a little shy with lots of noise and people, but once she feels comfortable, she warms up! (Like most people really!) She has been well loved by the kids in her foster home too! She must go home with a playmate of similar age.`Please note:- Our website (www.neenahanimalshelter.org) is updated in real time, so we are accepting applications for all animals that are currently listed.-Applications can be downloaded from our website. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Oh sweet Patch! She has just returned from a foster home, where she was very loved by her foster family and two adult cats. She now needs to find her forever. Patch is a gorgeous medium to long hair black kitten. Her fur is so soft and she keeps herself looking so beautiful. Her foster said she does enjoy being brushed and also held close to you where she would sit forever if she could. Patch has one eye that is somewhat cloudy, due to some sort of injury as a very young kitten. While in foster, Patch had medication applied daily so our vet says it has healed wonderfully, but will always have a bit of "haze" over the eye. Patch came to us as a single (and injured) kitten, because of this she is a bit reserved at first meeting. She is not the first kitten to come to greet you, but prefers for you to come to her. She loves attention and we do believe she will come out for attention once she is in her forever home and adjusts. Patch will do best for a calm and gentle feline companion. Because she was fostered in a home with adult cats, she does seem to prefer them over the craziest of kittens (although we have some other calm kittens that may not mind snuggle time with Patch). Please consider adding this sweet, calm, and of course beautiful kitten to your family. We just know she will blossom in the right family! *****IMPORTANT******   We require your home to include a similar aged feline companion.  Giving your kitten a buddy will improve the lives of both cats while also making your life easier. Single kitten issues/problems are a real thing. Complete our online adoption application a www.littleorphans.org to start the process of adding an adorable kitten (or two!) to your home. Adoption fees for kittens include spay/neuter, up-to-date age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, flea preventative, and a microchip.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 2, 2026, 2:58 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Check out this big, beautiful girl! She came to our shelter from the home she has lived in since she was young, as her former owners health would no longer allow them to keep Aria. This sweetheart is obviously confused by this recent change to her living situation, but still very much wants love and attention from our volunteers (even though we just met). She is obviously used to being part of a home and family, as Aria does seem to trust people and find comfort when we come in the room. For now, Aria is seems happy within our shelter, and we will do our best to keep it that way, but we know she would certainly love to find a new home and start her next chapter quickly. We will update this honey's bio as we learn more about her personality. For now, she seems to be a calm, sweet, loving lady that hit a bump in the road, but we think her heart is so big that this won't keep her spirit down. Ten minutes with this beauty and you will fall for her too! **We will get more pictures of Aria but today she really just wanted to be loved, and would come running up anytime we were in the room. Once she finally sat down, she picked the smallest dome bed (even though she had several larger ones to choose from) and peaked her head out - she is just ADORABLE!! Complete an app to come and check her out! All of our kitties have s/n completed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.  If you'd like to meet her or any of our great cats/kittens please submit an online adoption application at littleorphans.org. Please give our Adoption Team time to process all the info. The more complete your application is, determines how quickly we are able to process your application. Please try to give your vets office (give prior authorization to release information to us), landlord, and references a heads up to expect our call.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 23, 2025, 6:59 pm
