Story about Latte from his foster mom: "Latte had a rough start in life, separated from his mother and found hiding under a pallet with his two siblings at three weeks of age. When Latte first arrived, he seemed to see himself as responsible for and protector of his siblings. He was independent and didn’t seem to see much use for me. But once he settled into a routine, he realized he could trust me to keep them safe. He now comes and asks to be petted; the sound of his purring is extra special. Latte loves his brother; they enjoy the usual “cat sports” of wrestling, chasing, and ambushing. Then, after a lengthy play time, they curl up together and dream of being the strongest and fastest. He is also protective of his little sister but does not spare her when he wants to wrestle and tease her. Latte is energetic and inquisitive. His favorite toys are the pyramid ball tower, the doughnut tunnel, the regular tunnel, the cardboard box house, and the red Jack’s milkshake straw. He is a litter box expert, has a good appetite, has the silkiest coat, and gets along well with the house dogs and cats. It has been a real pleasure watching Latte grow from a tiny kitten to a five-pound cat. He’s a beautiful boy and one who will bring you great joy."
