Introducing Emma (Another spice girl)! She even knows her name and has one of the nicest purrs ever. Emma is a demure beautiful kitten with a pristine white coat. She sports a coordinating hat and a full dark tail. At 5 months old, Emma is really coming into her own. She loves the other cats and has even wanted to take a closer look at the dog (on the other side of the gate). A nice calm dog would be okay with her and of course she must have a friendly, playful kitty friend in her new home. Older children who aren’t rambunctious would be fine too. Mel is an adorable spice girl! She was very spicy at first. Her ‘hello’ was a hiss and then she would lean into your hand for pets. What a transformation she has made with love and patience! As soon as she started to trust her foster mom, she would sit on her lap to give a very quiet purr. Time, love and patience are the key to winning this girl’s heart! A quiet settled home will be best suited for her. Older children will be okay too! Mel can leap tall cat trees in a single bound, especially when it’s time for wet cat food. She was the first to welcome her new foster brother. She will definitely need one, or two, or three, other kitties to spend time with. She is curious about dogs, but still wary so a mellow easy-going dog will be okay that will give her space. A safe yard to enjoy warm summer days is a must for this gorgeous lady! King Henry! 👑 This handsome brown tabby with his soft, medium-length coat truly lives up to his royal name. King Henry came from a large cat colony at a trailer park in Anchorage, where a kind lady fed and cared for him for the past year. Despite living outside, it’s clear he once had a home and that he loves being part of a people and cat family. He has wonderful house manners and a sweet, affectionate nature. King Henry is about 3 years old and has quickly shown us just how loving he can be. He may be a little shy at first, but once he warms up, he’s a snuggly companion who adores attention. He gets along well with other cats, and while we aren’t sure yet how he’ll do with dogs, he has been around dogs and maybe a very gentle one would be fine. Chaos in the house is not his favorite thing so little kids or very rowdy noisy kids would not be good for him. He does love to go outside, as long as he can come back inside his loving home. So he must have safe outside access in his new home. Meet Gerri - one of the spice girls. She is about 5 months old and has really started to come out of her shell. Soft as a cloud and once she trusts you, she will seek you out. Right now, Gerri resides with her two sisters and a brother (from another mother). Her favorite pastimes include watching the world from high places, playing with a ball and a wand toy. Once she settles in your lap for pets, her purr starts up. I adore my sisters and must have a kitty friend in my new home to enjoy games of hide and go seek and chasing the ball down the hall. She is still leery about dogs, but curious at the same time so a gentle mellow dog would be okay in her new home that will respect her space. Older kids would be okay too!
