Josephine is an absolutely beautiful 11-week-old, long-haired dilute tortie fluff ball with a gentle, sweet heart. She can be a little shy when meeting new friends, but once she warms up, her fun and playful side shines right through. Above all else, her absolute favorite thing in the world is making biscuits on a soft, cuddly blanket—in fact, this super cuddly girl's biscuit factory is open long hours!Josephine has feline herpes, and an adoption counselor will gladly walk you through what that means and how easy it is to manage.Josephine will be in the shelter for adoption hours Wednesday 9/9 from 3-7pm and again Thursday 9/10 from 3-7pm. Once you have filled out the online Adoption Consultation Form, just come in and see us (or come and see us and fill out the consultation form upon arrival)!Please note that ALL dogs and cats are available to the first home that meets the dog or cat that we feel is a good match. In the event there is more than one home interested in the same animal, a lottery may be held that will include all families that are at our adoption center at the time we open the day the animal becomes available. In order to help make the best match, we do want all family members (dogs and humans) to meet any potential new family member. Our adoption center hours are: Closed Sunday/Monday; Tuesday 10a-2p, Wednesday 3p-7p, Thursday 3p-7p, Friday 10a-2p, Saturday 10a-4p. We are located at 952 W Melody Avenue in Gilbert (zip code 85233).All animals are altered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, licensed (dogs). Cats tested for FELV/FIV. Dogs tested for Heartworm. All animals are available to the first family that is a good match, and if we have more than one animal who is a good match, there will be a lottery for all matches. Note that families must have come in to our adoption center and spoken with an adoption counselor prior to any lottery (when we have lotteries, they usually occur on Saturday mornings).

This sweet girl is Miss Piggy! She is an elderly kitty, but don't let her age fool you! She is a very spry 11 year old. From what we were told about her, she started out in a home with other cats that had bullied her. When her owner passed away, our co-workers grandma , who was in the same assisted living community, took her in and took care of her for a full year before she had to give her away. Unfortunately, it was either us or the pound, so we took her in! We didn't know how she would react to our 3 cats but we knew that we had to try. It has been a bumpy road. Due to her past with other cats, she doesn't like them which has caused a lot of issues for her. I will say, she has an attitude when she's stressed (honestly, same) and she has bopped us from time to time of she's over stimulated. But she couldn't be a more loving cat when she's on her own. She needs to be the only animal in the home, probably a more quiet place. We loved her to bits, but we know she's not happy here.

This beautiful Tuxedo kitty is named Mr.Little Man. He is 3 years old. I rescued him from the Arizona Humane Society when he was 2 months old. He is fixed and has had the basic immunizations; however, I have not been able to update his shots. He is slow to get to know someone, but once he knows you, he is a loving and cuddly kitty cat. He is litter box trained, is past the baby scratches, and is just a pleasant young kitty cat. I will be needing to move in a few months, and I will not be able to take him with me, which is breaking my heart, so I am looking for a good home for him. He is used to dogs and cats; however, I do not know how he is around small children. He would be a great addition to someone's home. I only ask that if you are not able to keep him, please reach out to me, and I will take him back and look for another loving home. I know pet ownership is supposed to be forever; that was my full intention when I adopted him, but life happens, and we make the best of it.

This is Snow, aka Snowman. I found him when he was 4 weeks old and fed him kitty milk until he was old enough to wean. He is my heart. He is fixed and has his full set of shots, but I have not been able to update his vaccinations. He is litter box trained, such a good boy, and follows directions (most of the time, lol). He does have a touchy stomach, so dry kitty food only, maybe a touch of pumpkin here and there. He knows how to play without biting or scratching and makes the perfect companion for anyone who needs a lot of love in their life. (I do not know how he is around small children). He is wonderful around dogs and cats, but I do not know about any other animals. He is my world, so please, if you are not able to keep him, please reach back out to me, and I will gladly take him back and rehome him again. Pet ownership is for life, and my heart is breaking because I can not move him with me.

We adopted Neo and his sister Zodiac as kittens 6 years ago. Their mother is Siamese and their father was a roamer. Neo is by far, the friendliest cat you will ever meet. He loves cuddling and being around people. He is extremely gentle and amazing with children, probably too good with kids for his own sake. He loves a head scratch and a belly rub and he is very food motivated, although he always has access to food and doesn’t over eat. He always comes running to greet anyone when they arrive, and often plops himself on people’s feet or laps.
