Meet Brigitta, a lovable, cuddly calico kitten. Brigitta is a 12 week old calico female kitten who loves snuggles and attention. She loves to play with everyone and has a very affectionate personality. She has soft golden eyes and beautiful calico markings. When she isn’t playing with her favorite toy, she loves to curl up in a sunny spot to sleep. You won’t believe how amazing she is! Brigitta is spay, dewormed, flea and parasite free, FIV/FeLV negative, and ready for her loving forever home. Where did you acquire your pet? Adopted him from the local shelter as a kitten. How old is your pet? About 5 years old, almost 6. What are you looking for in a new home? He requires a lot of attention and care, and I cannot provide this regularly. This sometimes causes behavioral issues unless I spend more time with him. When he gets enough attention, he is fine! What adjectives would you use to describe your pet He loves to cuddle and be petted. He’s sweet, shy, needy, and loving.

Kylo was adopted as a kitten at a local shelter. He is currently 5 years old, almost 6 years old. Kylo is a sweet boy, who is typically very well behaved, however when I cannot provide enough attention for him, he gets stressed and has issues peeing outside of his litter box. This doesn't seem voluntary, as he associates his litter box with pain, when he has stressed induced swelling in the bladder. I am a very busy young professional, and often cannot find the time to give him the love and attention he deserves. When he receives the right attention, his peeing issues are non-existent. Looking for an experienced cat owner who would be able to fulfill his needs. He loves to cuddle and needs daily pets and love. He has been around other cats and a dog, but he prefers the company of his human over anyone else. Therefore, I know he would rather be in a house where he is the only cat/animal. Kylo is cuddly, needy, kind, skittish, attached, and gentle.

The Nature of Wildworks is devoted to rescuing and caring for wildlife in need, but a sweet family of cats that was dumped at Mollie's AirBnB in Oakhurst could not be ignored. The cats were all so sweet so they were easy to catch and have been living the good life in the spare room at Wildworks, but now it is time for them to find their forever homes. All three cats have now been spayed and they are all as sweet as can be. Martha is a long-haired Calico (above), Marty is a kitten and a gray tabby, and Lucia another adult female short-haired calico. All three get along great if someone wants to take on three cats, but they also seem to not mind other cats or would do fine as solo cats. By adopting from our rescue it makes room for us to pull more cats from the High Kill Shelters and keeping them from being put down at the kill shelter. We don't take in any private owned cats. Just shelter cats for there life at the Kill shelter is very short before being put down. Our rescue is a no kill rescue! We work hard to get our cats ready for adoptions. Also, we try to help those that are in transition to find foster homes while they are seeking permanent adoption. You should know that we are very selective about which animals we bring into our rescue so that they will adapt well with the ones already residing here. We work with many rescue groups in helping the public to understand the meaning of a feral cat and the TNR (trap and release) program. We also offer help to those people who are interested in starting a TNR program in their area. Feral cats don't need to be killed...and I can't express that enough! We do not support any program that kills feral cats. We are backed by the PETA and Alley Cats organization, and we work from donations and volunteer help. The very sad part of being in rescue... is that this is what we see every day walking into the shelter's knowing they will all die in a few days. Its hard to be in rescue and see this every single day over and over... it takes a toll on us all dealing with trying to save a life. Then the question is who do we save and who do we leave behind? Rescued from a High Kill ShelterFreda is cat & dog friendly! Fully vetted and micro-chipped. Litter box trained very clean doesn't make messes in her kennel area. Super sweet and friendly towards humans and kids. Loves attention would be a good lap kitty.
