Story
Kysar is so sweet and loving! Great with kids, cats, dogs. Fully vetted and waiting for her forever home. Great with litter box.  Would be a great family cat. If you would like to meet Kysar please contact our rescue 559-412-7226 We currently have in our adoption area at our rescue many cats all running freely in our adoption area waiting for there forever homes. We try to keep up to date our cats currently up for adoption listed. But we S/N weekly and try to add our updates of cats weekly. But there are still many cats we have up for adoption that may not have been listed yet. All our cats up for adoption come from High Kill Shelters that have a very short time at the Kill Shelter prior to being put down. By adopting from our rescue it makes room for us to pull more cats from the High Kill Shelters and keeping them from being put down at the kill shelter. We don't take in any private owned cats. Just shelter cats for there life at the Kill shelter is very short before being put down. Our rescue is a no kill rescue! We work hard to get our cats ready for adoptions. If you would like to meet all our cats up for adoption please contact us 559-412-7226. We are by appointments only! We are a rescue, not a shelter. We do not kill any animals here at our rescue. In fact, we do not advocate the killing of animals and wish all shelters would adopt a 'no kill' policy. Many of the animals that we rescue end up living out their days here, as some are not adoptable, which may be due to their age, medical issues, socialization issues, or inability to handle children or other animals. Some are also pets that have been unwanted by relatives when their owners have passed on. We try to facilitate the adoption of all animals referred to us that we feel would be good companions. Also, we try to help those that are in transition to find foster homes while they are seeking permanent adoption. You should know that we are very selective about which animals we bring into our rescue so that they will adapt well with the ones already residing here. We have wonderful kittens and adult cats ready for adoption. Please contact us to arrange an appointment. We work with many rescue groups in helping the public to understand the meaning of a feral cat and the TNR (trap and release) program. We also offer help to those people who are interested in starting a TNR program in their area. Feral cats don't need to be killed...and I can't express that enough! We do not support any program that kills feral cats. We are backed by the PETA and Alley Cats organization, and we work from donations and volunteer help. The very sad part of being in rescue... is that this is what we see every day walking into the shelter's knowing they will all die in a few days. Its hard to be in rescue and see this every single day over and over... it takes a toll on us all dealing with trying to save a life. Then the question is who do we save and who do we leave behind? Our rescue never leaves family members behind NEVER !!June 9, 2023, 5:03 pm

Story
Taz is a female cat whom we took in about a year ago. She was by a coworker of mine on his property but he has many pets already and was unable to house another kitten. We took her in and she has been nothing but a joy, recently my father has moved in with us, which he is allergic to cats so finding her a home has been tough. With my father allergic, it does make things harder. Taz is a loving cat who enjoys relaxing and cuddling. She is house trained, and doesn't mind outdoors as long as she is only in the patio area. She is a year, but still very small for her age.

If you need an affectionate companion, maxx is it. He can walk with you if you go for a little walk. He is outdoor and indoor. I feel sad to rehome him, but my health and allergy do not allow me to keep him 😢. I had him for 14 years and i am sure he will be the best companion. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Story
The award for Purrfect Black Face “Drapes” goes to this darling boy named Fritz. All he asks is that you approach him quietly until he knows you, and then you can expect him to snuggle as close as he possibly can at bedtime for the cuddling he looks forward to! Through the day he loves to play, especially zipping from here to there and batting and chasing anything from bottle caps to items you may drop on the floor. His sweet siblings are always up for fun, and this sweetheart may do best if he has a kitty playmate. He hasn’t been around bigger cats or kids, but he is good with dogs. He’s extra fuzzy wuzzy in his medium length coat of silky black and white, mostly black on his topside and mostly white from chin to toes, with a kissable black satin nose! He’s a sweet and easy-to-love boy, sure to be a cherished and companionable big guy, with a happy spirit of fun and a deeply affectionate side, especially at bedtime! Wonderful Fritz hopes he’s the great guy for you! Please note: Fritz is shy and needs a quiet home. (The San Diego Humane Society offers a Shy Cat training class over Zoom.)Fritz is ok with dogsMore information & application [ts=1686359009&src=aap]

Story
Sabrina is a big-eyed beauty with soft silky fur.  She has a sassy personality and can be a little bit shy at times.  She has so much kitten fun playing with her siblings.  Her current favorite game is batting and chasing balls with bells.  Sabrina's sassy personality is not suited for small children so a home with older children would be best for her.  Her exposure to dogs has been limited.  She may do okay with a low energy dog.  Sabrina is looking for a forever home where she will be given time to overcome her bouts of shyness. Please note: Sabrina is shy and needs a quiet home with no young children.
