Picasso is honestly the best all-around cat in the cattery right now. He's loving, playful and patient. He's very smart and highly trainable. Picasso also gets along with children, all other cats and small dogs. His sweet demeanor has made him a favorite among the staff and volunteers alike. Whoever takes him home will be lucky indeed! Backstory: Picasso and his siblings came to Crescent City from the panhandle during a hurricane evacuation. They were at a private foster home until they were about a year old. Their foster mom struggled greatly when it was time to bring them to the cattery to be adopted, she said they were the sweetest cats she'd ever raised (and she's raised a lot!) Story

Sammy is a beautiful young female gray/blue cat. She is 3 years old. She is smart and affectionate. She can also be rowdy and playful. She likes her scratching post. I acquired Sammy from a woman who was rescuing kittens from a Feral Mom. Sammy was only about 4 weeks. I kept her in the bathtub with a heating pad under a towel and a box for shelter. I wanted to feed her formula, so i bought a little cat baby bottle from the store and filled it up with formula. When we put it in her mouth to our surprise, she bit off the entire nipple. She taught us a little about who she was! She is very independent, and jumped out of the bathtub way sooner than we expected. I think she would do well with a cat that was her age or younger. I say that because she has a little too much energy for my older cat who is ill. I don't have children, but she has never acted out when they might have been around. I hope you find my cat's pride and lovelyness and temperment to your liking.
