Story
Elfie is a stunning female tabico! She is beautiful but needs some adjustment time and more socialization. She would do best in a home that is quiet and calm, but also willing to work with her. She has had a tough time accepting people but has trusted some staff members to give pets. She seems to do well with other cats also, as she finds comfort and confidence in them. She is often curled up with her brother Claus or other cats nearby.

Story
Introducing the fluffy (and fiesty!) Maude. This striped little lady has probably never had a bad hair day in her life. With her shiny thick fur and bright yellow eyes, there's no denying that this girl is beautiful. Maude and her siblings joined the SAYv family after being trapped from a feral colony. These spicy babies were born outside at the end of 2023, and are slowly but surely learning that life on the inside is the place to be. Maude is still on the shy side, but is coming out of her shell more and more every day. She is a girl that knows what she wants (and it's usually wet food), and she puts on the charm to get it. She is very food motivated, but still gets scared easily so she will need a patient adopter that is willing to give her the time she needs to get more confident around people. Every day she makes improvements and shows more and more interest in interacting with people. She loves chasing laser pointers or swatting toys around the room. Maude gets a lot of comfort from other feline companions and thoroughly enjoys wrestling with other kitties or taking naps laying on top of other cats- especially her sister. Because we know that she gains the most confidence with other feline friends, she will need to be adopted with another kitten or cat or go to a home that has a companion for her. Sound like you have the perfect home for this pretty girl? Are you willing to put in a little time to continue to show this girl how awesome life on the inside can be? Apply to adopt sweet Maude here: sayvanimals.org/adopt (PLEASE NOTE: Despite what PetFinder, AdoptAPet and other aggregation software systems state - the first step is to submit an application via the link above, NOT send a message through their platforms. Thank you!

**CURRENTLY BEING HOUSE AT OUR FOREPAWS LOCATION**Located at 453 Ridge Road in Minooka. Open for viewing/adoptions during their regular business hoursFeel free to call Forepaws for details at 779-456-7899Meet our OG Chocolate bar, Hershey. She's about three years old. Hershey came into our care very pregnant, and on February 12th gave birth to a litter of chocolate nuggets. She was an amazing and attentive mother to her 5 kittens. She was fostered in a home with 2 cats and 2 dogs. Hershey did not mind the commotion at all, so she should be fine with other pets after a slow introduction. Hershey is ready to live a leisurely life as a pampered house cat, with all the toys, sunbeams and catnip you can provide. Her adoption fee is $155 and includes all her vaccines, registered microchip, fecal exam, deworming, FIV/FeLV test, and spay. She is already fixed!

Story
August and Betty are a bonded pair of 9 month old cats. August is the more outgoing of the pair, she is always ready for a good belly rub or ear scratches. Betty is shy, relying on August to show her who and how to trust. Once you have earned Betty's trust though, she is very willing to cuddle up next to you. They both love to be up high and would love a cat tree next to a window to view birds. August is a medium hair and will require regular brushing to help maintain her sleek coat. The pair love to talk and make the sweetest noises. Their adoption fee is $155 each ($310 total), and includes their vaccines, fecal exam, deworming, registered microchip, FIV/FeLV test, and spay.

Story
Renegade gives middle child energy.  He is the bravest and most confident out of his siblings and is always exploring in search of his next adventure.  He loves pets and will even tolerate being picked up and held in short spurts.  He doesn't mind the dog and was the first to walk by him and does it now without hesitation.  He would probably be great with kids, although he hasn't met any yet.  He is easily won over with some tinsel balls or other toys to throw around.  he would be happiest in a home with one of his siblings, especially Walker (the 2nd) or Mac.  But any other young, energetic cat to play with would be fine as well.  He is fixed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $100 (if he is adopted with one of his siblings their adoption fee is $175 for the pair) To adopt Renegade email us at kakf3133@gmail.comMay 7, 2024, 6:06 pm

Story
Mac is a shy but curious boy.  He's hesitant about physical affection, like his sisters, but also like them, you can sneak in some love when he's eating or you're treating him to churu.  He watches his brothers get pets and love, like he's trying to figure out what all the hype is about.  Also like his sisters, he usually avoids the dog, so he'd do best in a home without any.  He would probably be fine with older children but younger ones would be too much.  He would do best in a home with another cat and we would love to see him adopted with one of his siblings.  He is fixed, up to date on vaccines, and micro chipped. His adoption fee is $100 (if he is adopted with one of his siblings their adoption fee would be $175 for the pair) To adopt Mac, email us at kakf3133@gmail.comMay 7, 2024, 6:06 pm
