With a calm environment and a patient heart, Green Beans is sure to blossom into a loving companion who appreciates the simple joys of soft blankets and tasty treats. Story
Just like her name, Pastina is small, delicate, and full of quiet warmth. She’s one of the shyest members of our Pasta Party rescue — and with all she’s been through, it’s easy to understand why. Pastina came to us in one of the worst conditions of the group, but even in her hardest moments, she’s shown incredible strength and resilience. This tiny noodle is learning that people can be kind and that it’s okay to trust again. She loves cozy hiding spots (bonus points if there’s another cat friend to cuddle with) and gentle affection from those who move at her pace. Pastina will need a patient, loving home where she can continue to heal and gain confidence, but we know her perfect match is out there — someone who will see her not for her past, but for the sweet, hopeful heart she has today. Because even the smallest noodle deserves the biggest love.

Story
Just like her pasta namesake, Conchiglie is shaped by her past — a little rough around the edges, but full of surprising sweetness once you look inside. Conchiglie came to us through the Pasta Party rescue after a difficult start in life. She arrived scared, underweight, and unsure of the world, but this brave girl has been healing more and more every day. And as she heals, her true personality shines through: playful, loving, and so eager to trust. She can be a bit shy at first, but it doesn’t take long for Conchiglie to warm up. Once she does, she’s all purrs, head bumps, and happy energy. She loves toys, attention, and of course, treats. This girl knows how to have fun and isn’t afraid to show it once she feels safe. Conchiglie is ready for a forever home where she can continue growing, playing, and discovering all the good things life has to offer. If you’re looking for a sweet, resilient kitty with a playful spirit, Conchiglie just might be your perfect match.

Story
Hi, my name is Juno! I was taken to a new home since my past owners had to move, but I don’t seem to get along with my new siblings. I am young and playful but very cuddly. I can lay on your lap all day and cuddle with you all night. I love exploring and am a curious kitty. I love kids and humans but I have never met a dog. I would do better with other cats that are submissive or as the only cat of the home. I would love to meet you and hopefully find my forever home!

Story
All Pet Central animals are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, spayed or neutered, microchipped (registration included), and current on parasite prevention. Dogs over six-months of age are heartworm tested. When adopting, we will ensure that you receive copies of veterinary and microchip records. Records are sent via email. Paper versions are available upon request. If you are interested in this pet, please fill out the brief Adopter Survey by hitting "Apply for Adoption" on the profile above. After we review your completed survey, we will contact you by phone or email within three business days. Please note- Out of respect for our volunteers and staff, we are closed on Sunday and Monday and will not be processing any applications on those days. Please get back to us right away when we call or email regarding an application so that we can quickly connect using the process below: Select a pet and submit an online adoption survey. A PCH! adoption counselor will contact potential adopters within three business days (PCH! cannot guarantee any pet's availability, but we make every effort to accommodate adopters with a reply and possible alternative suggestions). An adoption counselor and client will then have a conversation to answer questions, discuss any medical needs for the pet and determine the suitability of a match (if necessary, we may opt to put adopters in touch with foster parents). After a match is made, clients will be asked to sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee online through our secure payment system *Please see our modified no-risk return policy. (below) The PCH! adoption counselor will then set up a specific appointment time and location. Adopters should bring a pet carrier and/or a leash to pick up and their ID. Adult pets will be wearing a collar. It is important that clients arrive on time, neither early nor late. Cats and kittens are required to leave in a pet carrier. If your adoption is scheduled at Pet Central Helps!: Upon arrival inside the Crossroads Center complex (360 Wylie Drive), look for the black Pet Central Helps! semi-trailer, which is right outside of our facility (Suite 720). Park in the parking lot and enter the facility. A PCH! representative will greet you and show you to the adoption room. Your new pet will be handed to you. We will take a "Happy Adoption Day” photo with your pet and family. If your adoption is scheduled at PetSmart – Bloomington, IL: Park in the PetSmart (1606 E. Empire St.) Parking lot and enter the store. We will be set up just inside the store entrance. Let us know you are here to pick up your pet! A PCH! representative will confirm your information and hand you your pet. We will take a "Happy Adoption Day” photo with your pet and family. If your adoption is scheduled at the Cat’s Meow Cafe: Navigate to PetSmart, park in the parking lot and enter the store. Locate a PCH! Representative at our adoption table and let them know you are picking up a Cat Cafe Cat. You will sign your final contract with your counselor and snap a picture of the completed screen. Head to the Cat’s Meow Cafe at 507 N. Hershey Rd and provide them with the snapshot of your final contract. They will get your cat and take a “Happy Adoption Day” photo with your pet and family. PCH! supports a 30-day no-fault return policy in which adopters are given the opportunity to find a better match. If we cannot provide advice/tools to keep a pet in the home we offer these options: Exchange for a pet that may be a better match** Receive a refund minus a $40 processing fee** With this approach, we can often turn mismatches into opportunities! Thank you, Pet Central Helps!
