Story
I adopted Julian from a local shelter when he was a kitten. He lives with three older lady cats, and one dog. He's over two years old, but is still very playful. Julian likes to play with many different toys from teasers, pointers, balls, and crinkle tunnels. He is extremely "chill" in the sense that you can carry him, cuddle him, and even rub his belly! He doesn't swipe or bite unless it's playtime. He's the most friendliest and cuddliest cat I have ever met, and is not shy towards strangers. The only problem Julian has at home is that he is spraying. He's been to the vet for it and it appears to be behavioral. We've tried our best to curb this behavior but unsuccessfully. This tells us that perhaps he's anxious in a house with so many critters, so we believe it'd be best if he was rehomed in a single or double pet home, no multi.

Story
Very scared baby found as a stray. All our young kittens are required to be adopted in pairs (or to homes with other cats or kittens) to prevent Single Kitten Syndrome. There are many benefits to adopting two kittens, including: One kitten can become bored and lonelyTwo kittens will keep each other busy and out of troubleHaving two kittens is very entertaining! You will have fewer behavioral issues with two kittensYou will help TWO babies get out of a shelter instead of one, and make room for us to help more! Our adoption fees are reduced for a second kitten. :)If you are interested in adopting this pet, please go to www.midwestpetrefuge.com/adopt to complete an application. Story
Meet Beethoven & Brahms – Two Gentle Gents Looking for a Forever Duet 🎵🐾🎶Beethoven (the big buff boy, 16 lbs) and Brahms (the fluffy orange-and-white sweetheart, 12 lbs) were found together out in the country—declawed on all four paws, scared, and far from where they belonged. These boys are estimated to be 8–10 years old, are now safe, and they're ready to write their next chapter... hopefully with you!Beethoven is a handsome, affectionate buff-colored neutered male with a strong purr and an even stronger love for attention. He’s got some ear polyps, which the vet believes are benign—just enough to make him a little hard of hearing. He’s also on medication for high thyroid levels, which he takes twice a day. Beethoven loves to show affection with “love bites”—they’re meant with the best intentions, but can be a little enthusiastic for delicate human skin!Brahms is a 12-pound longhaired orange-and-white charmer with a sweet face and a soft personality to match. He’s the mellow one of the duo—friendly, gentle, and content to relax in a cozy spot by your side. These boys clearly get along and would love a quiet, loving home where they can finally feel safe and cherished. We would also consider adopting them to different homes, since they are friends but are not bonded too much to separate. If you’ve got room in your heart (and home) for a perfectly paired duo, Beethoven and Brahms are ready to fill your life with love, music, and purrs. 🐱💗🐱If you are interested in adopting this pet, please go to www.midwestpetrefuge.com/adopt to complete an application.
