Story
At 5 months old. Was born to a semi feral mom cat and did not have proper human contact early on in life, to enjoy being handled by humans. He can be spatty and hissy. Does not like to be picked up or necessarily enjoy being touched. He will best be placed as a barn/shop cat as he is use to being outside and not interacting with humans, except for feeding times. Proper acclimation time will be needed to ensure he knows he is safe at his new location and does not want to run off. Acclimation time will take roughly 2-4 weeks. Handout provided.     Neutered, current on vaccines and on monthly prevention.   Adoption fee is any monetary donation to help us continue our barn cat program.    Interested in adopting a kitty from us?! Apply online here: https://www.fultoncoanimalcenter.org/apply-to-adopt-a-cat After your application is reviewed & approved, a staff member will be in contact to set up a time to come in to see our kittens & cats! If he or she is a match - they can go home with you on the same day! Remember to bring a cat carrier! If you don't have one, we have cardboard carriers available to purchase for an additional $5. All kittens & cats must leave FCAC in a secure carrier!   If it’s a good fit, you may be able to take your new best friend home the same day! We also offer a 2-week foster-to-adopt trial period to ensure it’s the right match for everyone.   Adoption Hours Monday & Saturday 11am-4pm l Tuesday & Friday 11am-5pm | Wednesday 11am-6pm | Thursday & Sunday CLOSED ##2589742##

Story
Meet Eddie!   Originally found in June as a scrawny stray, his finder took care of him and got him to a healthy weight!   He is about 4 years old and weighs right around 11#.  Eddie is overall friendly and likes attention. He has been living in his own for sometime and we are guessing he probably would enjoy some protected outdoor time, once in awhile. A catio or porch area for him when he'd like to venture out for fresh air, would likely be ideal for this big guy; who still wants the comfort of a cozy bed inside.   Eddie should be fine with kids and other cats. We are unsure if he's ever been in the company of dogs in his past, so proper introductions would need to be made of any are at his new place.  Neutered, current on vaccines and on monthly prevention.  Adoption fee is $ 50   Interested in adopting a kitty from us?!
