This 3 month old kitten is looking for his furever home. Merlin may be the smallest kitten in his litter but he has more than enough spunk and personality to make up for it! Merlin like all his litter mates loves to play with his favorite toys being anything that jingles. Merlin can be a bit more reserved than the other kittens around new people, but he’ll start talking once you get him to open up! He is loving and affectionate once he warms up to you and gets along well with other cats! First vet visit 7-13. Received initial shots. Merlin also has an umbilical hernia which should close on its own. If you plan to declaw your new pet, please keep looking. Also look into what declawing does both short and long term to a cat.

Story

General came to the local shelter with malformed eyes and an eye infection, so both of his eyes were removed. We adopted him after this procedure and took him to our vet who performed a revision of his eye surgery (because the site didn’t heal correctly with the first surgery), and a dental cleaning. His surgical site healed perfectly and causes no issues. When we first adopted General, we lived in a smaller home, where he had access to approximately 1000 sq ft of space. He got around perfectly, uses the litter box perfectly, and does amazing with children, other cats, and calm dogs. He is playful, and loves toys, especially ones that make noise (rattle, crinkle, etc) so he can track them. Since adopting him we have moved to a much larger house (approximately 3000 sq ft) and he struggles to get around the much larger space. We can’t confine him without confining our other cats or secluding him from the family, which isn’t fair him, and we hate seeing him struggle.
