Story
Julia is such a sweet loving bicolor cat (black and white). We at the rescue, hope someone will see what we volunteers see in these attentive yellow eyes and will give her a home. We are looking for a person who isn’t afraid of a cat with allergies. She isn’t on any medications ……she just sneezes. She is also very furry and if she could get brushed every day or so, she might not sneeze. Julia is great with getting loved on and petted. And even though she is “an adult” she enjoyed playing with a string during her photo shoot. While at the rescue Julia hasn’t been exposed to anything but other cats so we don’t know how she would respond to Kids….or dogs. He does very well with all the other cats. Contact Joy’s Animal Rescue for information or questions. Please check out Joy’s volunteer positions. We could really use your help!

Story
Squiggy is a confident young cat that loves to be loved when he deems it appropriate. He has a little gray mixed in his black coat giving him quite the striking appearance. He gets along with other cats at the rescue. Other than these few good cat traits, we, at the rescue, don't know if Squiggy would be good with dogs or kids. If you can't adopt, please consider fostering this handsome boy so he can have a chance at life in your home. Contact Joy Animal Rescue for information or questions. Story
Limus (pronounced LEE-mus) is a friendly, energetic 1-year-old tuxedo. He is endlessly playful and loves to be petted. He'll often come perch his adorable mittens on your leg (see pictures) or nuzzle your chin. Limus was adopted by our roommate, who can no longer care for him. We are looking for a home that can provide him with abundant love and care. NOTE: He loves his "brother," Apollo, who is also up for adoption, and we would love to find someone that can take them both in together. However, our first priority is to find a safe home for each of them.

Story
Duncan is a really sweet cat. I love him to death, but I do not have the space he is needing to thrive in life. He's getting stressed and agitated and taking his frustrations out on others. I really think if someone could give him more space, he would be feeling much better. He's also not used to other people. Once he has your trust, he will be a companion for life. As I said I love him. It hurts having to rehome him. I just don't have what he needs to thrive. I have had him since he was born. He is the son of another cat from around my apartment.

Story
I'm Torres and I'm an independent catto who loves my own space but also loves to be near you. I'll come to you when you call me and I love scritches so much that if you stop, I will reach out my paw to remind you to keep going. I'm a sweet soul who just wants to be a part of your family. I can be a little shy at first, but give me a chance and I promise I'll love you furever! I get along well with other kitties and don't mind dogs once I'm familiar with them. Oh, and I always use the litterbox like a pro. To meet me, go to WAALrescue.org/adopt and fill out an application.
