Peanut or “Noodles”, is a very special girl. She is a wonderful companion and it is devastating to admit that I am unable to take care of her. Noodles often refuses to use the litter box and goes straight on the floor. This has been a problem since day 1 and it has only gotten worse. We have tried every thing possible to help her. We believe that Noodles is meant to be in an only cat household. We have two other cats already established in our house. Aside from the bathroom issues, Noodles is wonderful. She loves to relax in her special sleeping spots and will even come and cuddle for a while. She needs to have her alone time as she is not a super social cat.

Jake Gyllenhair was hanging out around the Humane Society of Clarksville-Montgomery County.  The awesome team there regularly feed the neighborhood strays so that they can trap, neuter, and return them.  Jake showed interest in being an inside kitty, so we told the crew that if they trap him, we'd take him.   Jake is still rather shy of this indoor life existence.  He prefers his privacy, but regularly likes to be in close proximity to his foster parents.  He hasn't become a cuddle buddy, but he does make for a great guard cat to scare away the monsters under the bed (that's one of his preferred hangout locations).  He gets along fine with the other cats in his foster home, as well as the resident dog.  He'd likely do well in a quieter home, or at least one with patience to let him come around on his own terms. We are a foster home based rescue in Clarksville, TN, and our cats are in private foster homes in the Clarksville area. An adoption application is required to meet our kitties. BB was found abandoned on a farm with a couple of his siblings. We decided to foster him as it was a friend who found him and she couldn’t keep them all. He is a sweet boy and very smart, he can even roll over! He loves his mama and has been a good companion. However, unfortunately he is not friendly to children. I am a single parent and I have tried everything for them to bond, but I think he just doesn’t click with “kid energy”. The behaviorists I have spoken to said this is not uncommon, but that after trying for so long with no success, it may be best for him to be in a child-free home to truly thrive. He seems to get over stressed with my child’s energy, yet is completely calm and relaxed when it is just me (or another adult) at home. He has never bitten or scratched or been aggressive towards me, not once. He is an absolute lover. He just needs a child-free home he can truly thrive and live stress free in. He deserves it so much!! I want him to be happy. 🥲
