Story
We got Eddy from MACC about 6 months ago. He’s about 6 years old and a very playful and very good boy. He’s highly affectionate (big on cuddles), food motivated, and intelligent. He’s currently an indoor only cat (with no issues) but has been an outdoor cat previously. Unfortunately, between Eddy and our original cat (who is VERY skittish), they just aren’t getting along. We think Eddy could be good around other cats, just not a cat with a lot of anxiety. Eddy has a high play drive and loves his feather string toy and playing chase (with my husband lol). He’s good with kids and doesn’t play too hard with humans/hands. We are hoping to have an adopter who can give Eddy the affection and play time he needs. He is a 10/10 good boy and we hope he finds his forever home. If adopting Eddy, we will provide his favorite toys, his pineapple plush bed, and, if desired, his cat box. We want him to be comfortable as possible with this transition.

Story
God's Dogs Rescue plus Kitties does NOT transport any cats or kittens in or out of the state of Texas. It is too stressful for the cats or kittens to be transported long distances, especially when enclosed in a vehicle containing dogs and puppies. Thank you for your understanding. Hi there! My name is Peppa Pig and no I am not a pig. Although I was pretty round when I came into my foster home. Inside of 24 hours, I popped out 6 babies and then after a few weeks, if that wasn't enough headaches...i mean little darlings to look after, I inherited a couple more to feed and look after. Honestly, I think I was doing enough before the last 2 came along but they are all weaned now and can find therir own homes. That means I get to relax now too and find my forever home too. Let me tell you about me. I was technically a stray as I was living outside, but I was friendly so perhaps I wasn't always an outside cat. I have adapted to having air conditioning and meals on time and in bowls very well and would not like to go back to living rough in the wilds of San Antonio. I am friendly and like to rub up against you when I am hungry, thirsty, want to be petted or just for the heck of it. I like having people around and I purr, purr, purr. I am about a year and a half old, and am ready for my forever home. My adoption fee is only $100 and I am fixed, microchipped and current on all of my needed vaccinations.

Story
👋 Boo! Don’t be scared — I’m just a sweet, calm cat hoping to find someone to love me for the rest of my days. My name is Boo, and for 15 years I was the loyal companion of a kind man who loved me dearly. But due to serious health issues, he can no longer care for me. Now I’m looking for a new forever home to live out my golden years. I’ve only known one home my whole life. I’m quiet, affectionate, and always use my litter box. I’m not on any medications, and I don’t have any known health issues. I enjoy having dry food available and look forward to my wet food meals twice a day. I am always ready for a party or to chase down a hair-tie. I would love a home with a family who has older children or a fellow retired saint. Once I warm up to you, I will be your best buddy. Why Adopt a Senior Like Me? I won’t climb your curtains or race through the house at 3 a.m. I just want a sunny spot to nap in, a cozy lap (if you’ve got one to spare), and someone who sees my heart, not just my age. I’ve still got so much love to give — and I’ll be endlessly grateful to the person who gives me a second chance. Could that person be you? If you're ready to open your home to a gentle soul who just wants a warm place and a kind heart, please fill out the adoption application at https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/PSTR/Dog Let’s give Boo the loving retirement he deserves. 💙🐱

Story
Meet our sweet and low-maintenance cat, who’s looking for a new home where they can enjoy the occasional outdoor adventure! This lovable feline enjoys spending time outdoors, but is always content to return to a cozy spot indoors, especially in the laundry room where they sleep peacefully each night without causing any disruption. They are well-mannered, always using their litter box and never having accidents outside of it. Unfortunately, due to my partner's severe allergies, we need to find a wonderful home for this sweet cat. If you're looking for a calm, affectionate companion, this kitty could be the perfect fit! Good with our children two little boys and loves to play with toys

Story
Meet Melon! Melon is a ~5 month old lovable little kitten with a big heart, and he's on a journey to find a special family who can provide the care he needs. Due to his congenital gastrointestinal issues, Melon requires a unique and attentive home that can help him thrive. Melon will need a family that is diligent in monitoring his litter box habits and can give him the support he needs with his special care regimen. His diet will also need to consist of wet food to support his health, and his new family will need to ensure he is monitored for any constipation issues. Melon is affectionate, playful, and eager to find a loving home where he can get the extra attention and care he deserves. If you’re someone who is familiar with cats who have special medical needs or have experience managing gastrointestinal conditions, Melon could be the perfect fit for you! He’s ready to bring joy to a family that understands his unique needs. If you think you could be the right match, please reach out to learn more about how you can welcome this sweet kitten into your life. 💛 This sweet boy has an adoption fee of $175.00. He is up to date on vaccines, is neutered, microchipped and on prevention! Do you think Melon is a fit for you? Apply today Please note that we are a completely volunteer run organization and may take 48 hours to respond. Please make sure to fully complete your application.
