Story
At first glance **TIGER** seems to be a black cat, but take a closer look there is a tabby cat in there complete with stripes, spots and dots! Tiger is healthy, playful, sweet, warm and cuddly, just an overall primo kitten... he will not disappoint. Born of a feral mother, into a litter of five, things didn’t get off to the best start when as newborns, they were banished from the storage shed the the church where they were born. Luckily Wild Cat Foundation (WCF) stepped into help. They were bottled-fed for the time it took WCF to find and trap the mother. Reunited with her, they were kept safe to grow nurtured by mom and WCF. ANISE, BARBIE, CINDY LOU & SUZY Q. Super girls everyone! *** If you'd like to make this pet part of your family, please fill out an online application today: https://form.jotform.com/211746872887169 *** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Would you like to help us with the financial cost of the pets in our care? Story
Oppenheimer is finally ready for adoption! This poor fella was found on Lafayette ULL's campus back in August in horrible condition. He had a flea collar stuck around his neck and between his jaws which prevented him from being able to eat, drink, or groom himself. He was severely underweight and missing large amounts of hair. Over the past few months, he's made an amazing recovery! Thankfully, the collar didn't leave any significant damage to his jaw or mouth, and he can use it perfectly fine now. He has a great appetite and has finally reached a good, healthy weight. The only thing left is for his hair to grow back completely. There are no more bald spots; it'll just take some time for his long, luscious locks to come in. He's already a very handsome man, but once his fur is at full length, he's going to be GORGEOUS. Opp is a big ol' love bug and an absolute attention hog! He's constantly cuddling up with his foster parents to be petted and pampered. He's the star of the show and has the personality to match! He's also VERY vocal. He'll sing you the songs of his people, tell you epic stories of his past, and let you know all of his opinions about life. He even talks when he's grooming himself which results in the funniest little grumbly sounds. While Oppenheimer is a joy around people, he unfortunately does not like other cats and must be the only cat in the house. Oddly enough though, he does get along quite well with the dogs in his foster home! Naturally, it took an extensive introduction period for Opp to get used to the dogs, but at this point, they will happily hangout together in the same room without any fuss. He'll even head-bonk and rub up against his 80 lb Poodle foster-brother! Story
Sunflower (most commonly known as "Sunny" by her foster family) was found on UL Lafayette's campus. We believe that she may have been abandoned there because she was very sweet to all of the students that stopped by to say hi to her, and she kept trying to run inside the buildings. One of our volunteers called us to report the situation and we immediately got her scooped up and put into a foster home. Sunny is a super loving cat. Her favorite things to do are to sit on the windowsill and watch all that's going on outside in the neighborhood and sleep her in foster dad's lap while he works on his computer. She can be pretty vocal and will have full "conversations" with her foster parents - especially around dinner time. Sunny absolutely adores people, but unfortunately isn't the biggest fan of other animals. She would do best in a home without dogs or other cats. Ultimately, all Sunny wants is a family that will spoil her rotten and treat her like the princess that she is. A major fact to note is that Sunny does have a history of seizures. She has had two that we know of, the first occurred soon after she was taken into our organization during a routine check up with the vet. The second seizure happened in a previous adopter's home after she woke up from a nap. The previous adopters were aware of her medical history, but ended up deciding to return her back to Wild Cat Foundation because they realized that they would not be able to financially care for Sunny long-term. As of right now, Sunny is happy and healthy. She is not currently taking any medications for the seizures because we are unsure of what the root of the problem is. We have ran multiple tests to try to determine the cause (such as FeLV/FIV and toxoplasmosis), but everything has come up negative. Our leading guess is that she has an allergy/sensitivity to essential oils that were used in the diffusers at both locations, but we cannot confirm this. Any potential adopters will have to be able to commit to Sunny's medical needs and work with their personal vet to find a solution to this issue if it continues. Additionally, Sunny has some special grooming needs. She has beautiful long fur, but is honestly a bit lazy about grooming herself. She will need to be brushed regularly to keep her fur free of tangles. She's scheduled to get a lion-cut soon as the weather is warming up, so we'll see how that goes. Even though Sunny has a few quirks and special needs, she is most definitely worth the trouble. She is so sweet, loving, affectionate, and just an absolute joy to have around. Please consider giving her a home! Paw is such a loving cat. He loves to play and loves to snuggle. He has a lot of energy and gets the zoomies at night. He's not fond of dogs. He will also come with a self-cleaning litter box and an automatic feeder if you would like them.

Story
This dude came right up to me at mellow mushroom and was desperate for cuddles and food. The two things I've found are his favorite. Very playful and sweet. Warmed up to puppy in less than a week. This boy also has some claws, so he will want a scratch post.
