Story
His name is thing 2 because of the two dots on his face. About a year and half old. He's social with the other cats but may not be warm to people at first. It takes time for him to warm up to others. Feel free to change his name. He doesn't respond to it anyway.

Story
He's about 1 and half years old. He's sweet and mostly keeps to himself. Might hiss but doesn't bite or scratch. Named him thing one because of his single dot and his brother having two dots on their faces. Please feel free to change his name. He doesn't respond to it anyways.

Story
Be sure to read my FULL BIO all the way down to my vetting and how to apply. Not all sites will show the full bio, so if needed please go to www.rockersrescue.org and click on adoptable pets to be sure you are reading all details. The animals have multiple pictures to view. (on our site click "view more" under the main photo, or scroll to the bottom to see the rest.)  We are located around Shreveport, Louisiana and generally meet inside one of our adoption partners locations which are Hollywood Feed, Shreveport or in PetSmart, Shreveport.    Aussie  - Male Kitten. Whispy fur with fluffy tail. Already altered. Born day before Easter, April 19, 2025.  History: We rescued Aussie's mom "L'Oreal" from the shelter. She was a beautiful and fluffy snowshoe siamese/ ragdoll looking cat. She was sick and going to give birth soon, so we got her into foster. We had our "Shampoo" named babies. Garnier, Aussie, Tresemme, Pantene, and Suave. All kittens were adopted except Aussie, which shocked us! He's so beautiful and friendly. While he was waiting for a home, he got a tummy bug and some sniffles from some other fosters and he had to go off the adoption market for treatment. He's all better and ready to be adopted now. His mother sadly passed away due to her former neglect before coming to the shelter. She had kitty heartworms which was rare and fatal for her. (It's important to keep your kitties on regular flea/tick prevention that also protects against heartworms.)   Personality: Aussie has a 12yr old child in his home and he loves snuggling in her lap! He is definitely a lap baby. Love his attention. If you sit on the couch, he will generally be there to find your lap or lay right beside you.  He would likely adjust to a calm dog. He has finally begun cuddling by the more hyper dog thats in his home when she is resting. Does well with other cats. Pretty laid back. Likes to play with toys. He will carry some around like theyre his little babies. Loves treats. He's an awesome boy and we can't wait to see what lucky family gets to adopt him.   Medical:  Had 3 sets of kitten vaccines.  Got rabies vaccine at neuter appointment. Dewormed. Treated for tummy parasites and kitty sniffles.  On monthly flea/tick prevention. When you adopt, you will get a folder with their medical records to bring to your vet.  Kitten will be microchipped. It is via Petlink and there are NO fees. It is a lifetime registration and our rescue donations will have already paid for it.    Note: We do not approve of declawing. So if you wish to do that, please do not apply. Keep in mind the financial needs for the kitten/cats. This kitten is also to be indoors only. If you want an outdoors or indoor/outdoor kitty let us know and we can direct you.    ADOPTION: $40 adoption donation for approved application. Our rescue spends a LOT more than this fee on each life, but it is a way to help give back some to go towards the next life we help.  We are a 501c3 non profit that is 100% volunteer run. We function solely on donations from kind people. If you wish to donate more or continue following/supporting us over time, we would appreciate your continued love to help our organization save lives.  Adoption Process Summary: You apply. We will email or call if we have any questions. Upon app approval, we would schedule a day we all meet at PetSmart Shreveport or Hollywood Feed Shreveport. At that meet we would all make sure that you feel the pet is a good match for your home. If so, we run the adoption. You fill out our contract, pay your donation fee, and receive your folder with their medical records. You must bring a pet carrier to this appointment because your pet will go home with you that day if we all feel it is a great match. Woohoo!  We take your adoption picture and you head off with your new furry friend! We can often provide adoption coupons too!   HOW TO APPLY:  Go to  https://www.rockersrescue.org/info/adoption  and find the CAT APP. Please include as much about yourself as possible. Some people applying like to send an email with pictures of their home/pets/ or family. Email is rockersrescue@gmail.com  Our Rockers Rescue pets are currently in foster homes that help us save lives. When you choose to adopt from a rescue, you help open space for us to save another life in need. Thank you for considering adoption! Let us know if you have any questions. Thanks!   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 6, 2026, 12:29 pm

Story
I was given him when he was about 5 weeks old. He was from a litter that lived outside with the parents and siblings. He was always spicy but absolutely lovable. As he got a little older, he had issues with my other cats. We had him fixed and vaccinated. But he still has moments when he fights with my other cats. I think he would do best with no other cats. He’s a large cat and always wants to dominate. But at the same time, he can be so lovable. It will be heartbreaking to give him up, but he is not getting along with my other animals. There are time I come home from work and he will just cuddle up with me. Wrap his paws around my arms and be absolutely adorable and lovable. But he fights randomly with my other 2 cats. Make and female. Especially the male. I just want him to have a good home to be happy and not intimidating to the other animals. I want the absolute best for him.
