Story
Meet Monroe, the charming feral cat who has bravely adapted to indoor life. He has been hanging out in our office with Allie, our Volunteer & Social Media Manager, for almost six months now. Monroe is still a bit shy around humans, but he's making progress every day and seems to enjoy human company now! He seeks attention, loves to watch humans go about their day, and most importantly, he now enjoys butt scratches! Our main goal is to find a patient and caring home for Monroe. We are looking for someone who will let him take things at his own pace and not push for attention. Currently, he's getting more comfortable with gentle pets, enjoying playtime with cat toys, and freely exploring the office when Allie is around. He also seems to enjoy the company of other pets who respect his space and boundaries. His favorite pastimes include window-watching, wet food treats, and catnip socks - he enjoys the simple pleasures. It's important to note that Monroe is FIV+, so he can't go outside to avoid spreading FIV to other cats. If you are a patient cat-lover with time and space to dedicate to a feline like Monroe, please visit and request to meet Monroe. You'll be so happy you did.
