Just in time for the cold winter weather, a kind lady rescued me from the elements and showed me something I’d been missing—comfort, safety, and kindness. Thomas is a fantastic, almost 7-year-old boy with an incredible amount of love to give. This lovebug is the definition of "affectionate" and simply can't get enough head rubs to fill his day. His long, orange fur and tidy white paws make him an adorable little shadow to anyone who visits his room. When he first arrived at HART, Thomas was suffering from allergies, a severe skin infection, and a painful eye condition that required corrective surgery. These issues have caused some fur loss and swelling around his face, but with expert care and a low-allergen diet, he is feeling and looking so much better.
