dob 12/1/21 We always guessed that Naomi would live her best life as an only cat or with just one other calm adult cat, and recently we had a chance to see how true that is. The number of cats in her foster home dropped to where she is the only foster cat, and suddenly, she is not the fearful, unapproachable cat she was when she came to TC Paw as a mostly outdoor cat whose elderly owner couldn’t care for her anymore. It took Naomi a long time just to get used to her foster home, especially with all those other foster cats and kittens coming and going all the time. Now, however, as the only foster cat, with just the one adult resident cat, Naomi is friendly and interactive. We knew she was in there, and she comes out more every day. She gets on the sofa with her foster family in the evening, approaches them for petting and purring, and plays energetically with toys. Naomi has soft fur, a beautiful face, and a sweet, tiny voice. Sometimes after breakfast, she stands in the window and talks to something out there. She’s an enthusiastic eater who loves squeezy tube treats more than anything else. You can clip her claws if you keep the treats coming. She’ll press her head into your hand for ear and chin rubs and start up her rumbly purr. In a quiet, adult home where she gets affection and treats, Naomi will bloom into a lovely, gentle companion cat. Please help us find that home for her. dob 5/31/24 Maureen was a skinny stray living around and under the deck of a Kewadin residence whose owners called TC Paw and said they thought she and the other cat with her had been dumped nearby since they hadn't seen the cats before. Maureen is a friendly, confident cat who looks you right in the eye. She kind of flirts  with you by rolling on her back when she wants something. Really cute. She's a pretty cat with a mane around her face, a bushy tail, soft fur, and eyes that go from gold to green in different light. She's quick on her feet and likes to stand on shoulders or chair backs to be close and observe. She looks out the window and chatters at birds.  She uses her scratching post regularly. Maureen loves attention. Pick her up and hold her to your chest, talk to her, and let her curl up in your lap.  Maureen  came in with another cat, Izzy. dob 5/1/23 I’m sweet and petite and a bit shy at first, but once I come out of my shell and trust you, I’m a huge lovebug with a loud purr who’s assertive about letting you know she wants pets! I get along well with the cats in my foster home and engage in team zoomies and rough and tumble play with them. I also show affection to the cat-friendly canines in my foster home! I like to hide when I nap, but I’m starting to nap by the windows in my foster home and I enjoy seeing birds and squirrels outside. They tell me that I am a special needs kitty because I require a small amount of liquid medication daily to prevent my mouth from hurting from a condition I have. I will need this for the rest of my life, but I am willing to take my medicine as long as a tablespoon of Churro follows immediately after! My foster mom can show you how to give it to me. It’s easy! Having another active cat around my age in the home with whom I can play would be ideal.  Extended active playtimes with my fur-ever family will be beneficial as well so that I can release my pent-up energy!  I would love to meet you either at PetSmart when I’m there or at my foster home.
