Story
Meet Sweetie, a 12-year-old delight who truly lives up to her name! This affectionate, gentle girl has a knack for comforting her humans—if you’re ever having a nightmare, she’ll curl up beside you and purr you back to sleep. Sweetie is incredibly affectionate once she’s had time to settle in. She may be cautious with new people and places at first, often taking a few days to feel safe enough to come out of hiding. But with a soft voice and a little patience, her sweet, social nature shines through. Since adjusting to her foster home, she’s become a total snuggle bug who loves curling up on your chest and purring for pets. She thrives in a home where she can be the only cat, as other cats have caused her stress in the past. Sweetie was surrendered for litter box issues, but since receiving medical care and living in a cat-free foster home, she’s been using her litter box reliably. She’s currently coexisting peacefully with the foster’s older dog and may do well with another calm dog after a slow introduction. Sweetie’s favorite hobbies include basking in sunny spots, napping on cozy furniture, and playing with her beloved string toy. She hasn't lived with children before, but she may be a good fit for a quiet home with respectful, older kids—an intro is recommended. P.S. Sweetie’s adoption fee has been mostly covered by a kindhearted friend—there’s just a small fee to help with her dental care. Think of it as her smile fund!

Story
This little Dark Lord of the Sith was found wandering around the forest park of Aman. We believe she was dropped off there due to the fact she had little to no interest in hunting, and would only prefer to seek/call out for human attention. She's extremely sweet, well behaved, playful, gives lots of love bites, will attempt to push you around with her tiny head, crazy for mealtime (she'll be sure to tell you all about it), loves to stay hydrated, and is an all-round sleepy little lounging precious black hole.

Story
Murphy is a handsome 4.5 year old boy (born 10/3/2020). He has soft, medium-length hair and a big fluffy tail. He has a big personality and loves to play catch and chase after treats or his toy mice. He can also be easily entertained with treats in an egg carton or ice cubes in a water bowl. Murphy has many of the best traits for a cat – he is playful, friendly, and loving. He will gladly sleep on your bed at night if you will let him and while he probably won’t sit directly on your lap, he will enjoy being near you while you are watching a good movie or reading a book. He enjoys watching birds so a home with large windows for him to look out will be a good fit for him. On rare occasions, Murphy can get agitated when animals (most likely large ones) or unusual activities are happening outside when he’s looking out the window. In those rare moments of mania when he must feel threatened by the activity outside, he begins to hiss and if his person tries to stop him, he may lunge at them (not with biting fortunately but with scratching). The best approach to snap him out of this behavior seems to be a combination of talking loud, stomping, and/or ignoring him. It may be that an apartment on an upper level or at least a home with a small amount of outside activity is likely the best fit for him. Murphy is quite smart and when he thinks you aren’t spending enough time with him, he will gladly let you know by meowing and rubbing your legs to remind you he needs to be petted and played with. If you like having a cat greet you when you come home after a long day at work, school, or running errands, Murphy will happily oblige. He needs to be in a home as an only pet so that he can get all the love and attention for himself. He can be scared of loud noises such as landscaping equipment, loud trucks and trains so a quieter home with only adults or older children will be a better fit for him. Murphy will thrive in a home where he gets lots of attention but he will also want some times to be independent. Ask us today about this young, handsome, playful boy!
