Story
Dani has overcome a lot, and may be the sweetest girl you've ever met! She came to the humane society at 6 weeks old with a spinal injury. Initially she could not use her back legs, but has made an incredible recovery! She now loves to run, jump, play, and play tag with her foster brother and sister! She still needs some help emptying her bladder a couple times a day and requires medication to help her, but she does not leak urine or have accidents. Her favorite things are to be snuggled, take her pills in treats, chase her crinkly ball, and snuggle some more! She gets along great with dogs and cats, but she has not yet been introduced to young children so she may be shy around them at first but likely will warm up nicely!

Story
Sylvia is a previously adopted Cat Nap Lodge kitten. Unfortunately things didn't work out with her family and she came back to us as an adult. She is about 2 years old and can be timid. She loves attention from people she knows and is never late for dinner!Sylvia is older cat who loves to hang around. She likes being petted. She is shy at first but warms up nicely. She would prefer a quiet home and would make a great companion cat. This cat or kitten is being fostered with Cat Nap Lodge (CNL) for Kalamazoo Animal Rescue. Cat Nap Lodge is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit cat and kitten rescue located in Richland, MI. We also have additional foster homes in nearby communities. We focus on lost, sick, and injured kittens and cats. Once our cats and kittens are healthy, spayed and neutered, we adopt them out through Kalamazoo Animal Rescue. We welcome visitors at our CNL Community Center by appointment in the evenings and on the weekends. Together we save lives!Cat Nap Lodge Community Center10418 N 32nd St, Richland, MI 49083 Her foster parents are Joni K.   The adoption fee for Sylvia is $70. Meet Cutie! This little bundle of love is a timid boy at first. He will require some patience on his human’s behalf as he practices coming out of his shell more and more. He LOVES to play, especially with a wand toy and is a sucker for wet food! He will do best in a home without very young children. His foster parents are Suzanne A.   The adoption fee for Cutie is $90. If more than one cat or kitten is adopted the adoption fees are discounted. Story
Loving but shy cat. This cat was released to the outside when her owner passed away. She loves playing with her toys and sleeping. Her previous home with just one resident seems more her speed than our home with 2 dogs and one other cat. But, due to one of the dogs being a little aggressive, she tends to stay in one section of the home. She has her own litter box and has never had an accident. She has been with us for almost 2 years and the other pets in our home have not welcomed her even though I believe she has tried. We initially thought we would rehome her right away but fell in love and hoped our other pets would learn to love her as well.

Story
Willow is a great cat and is very affectionate. We adopted her at 8 weeks old in May of 2020. We have mostly been able to work from home since that time so Willow has received a lot of attention. She loves to snuggle in your lap, especially in the morning and evening hours. She also loves to play with her many animals, loves playing in boxes, and also enjoys games of hide and seek with her owners. Our current schedules and an upcoming move are making it difficult to continue to give Willow the attention she has grown used to. We are hoping for someone to adopt Willow who will be able to continue to provide her with the love and attention she deserves. Please let us know if you think you might be that person. Thank you.
