Story
Meet Nova! This lovely lady was surrendered in November. She is timid at the shelter, but we don't blame her. Everything is different and probably scary for her.Nova was living in a home with kids and other pets. She started stress-urinating because of the busyness of the household. Her people think she'd be happiest in a pet-free home with no little kids. She has lived in a home with multiple cats, previously, however. With proper introductions, she may be fine with a couple of other pets who respect her space.Nova likes to be pet. She is a beautiful and calm girl. She just needs the right home. Can it be yours? Nova is spayed and vaccinated.Submit an adoption application online at watonwan.weebly.com____Please Note: We ask that an application be filled out before coming to the shelter. If pre approved, a meeting with the animal will be set up. To fill out an application, go to http://watonwan.weebly.com/adoption-application.html, All animals are current on vaccinations, sterilized and given flea/tick preventative. Cash or check only. For more information, our website is www.watonwan.weebly.com or call the shelter at 507-942-7387. For more information on cats, please email: petcompany@hotmail.com. Story
Rylo, Rylan, and Ravyn are fluffy siblings who love to wrestle. They were very sick when they arrived at the shelter,  but they love getting pets, playing with toys and each other, and generally making a mess as kittens do! We would like to claim that Rylo is the most dignified of the siblings, but he is really just as bad as the others. Rylo needed to be handled more for meds than his siblings, so he is more used to being picked up and always hopeful that this time the humans won't want to do something to him. Rylo was born February of 2025. He is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. As always, cat/kitten adoptions are free will donation to approved applicants. ****The first step in the adoption process is to complete the application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org**** November 2, 2025, 6:30 pm

Rylo, Rylan, and Ravyn are fluffy siblings who love to wrestle. They were very sick when they arrived at the shelter, but they love getting pets, playing with toys and each other, and generally making a mess! Ravyn needed multiple baths in her early days. She sometimes purred and sometimes put up a fight. She is not a picky eater. She goes wild for wand toys and treats. Be prepared to do lots of brushing. Ravyn was born February of 2025. She is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. Story
Annie is very timid and shy. She plays with her siblings and loves toys. She takes a while to trust people and wants attention on her own terms and timetable. She would do well in a home where that just lets her be her. Annie may never be a lap cat, but to the right, patient person maybe she could be someday. She will cuddle and purr if picked up, but will run and hide as soon as she is released. Annie just needs her chance to shine. She might also benefit from a more confident companion, such as one of her siblings. She was born June of 2025. If she is not spayed by the time she is adopted, she will be on a spay/neuter contract. She is microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. As always, cat/kitten adoptions are free will donation to approved applicants. ****The first step in the adoption process is to complete the application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org****  November 25, 2025, 8:36 pm

They were very sick when they arrived at the shelter, so they are still getting used to being picked up, but they love getting pets, playing with toys and each other, and generally making a mess! Buff Rylan can be a bit spicy if you scoop him up or try to give him a bath, but he is the first to throw himself into new situations. Rylan was born February of 2025.
