Story
Olwen is a 2 year old neutered male. He is current on his vaccinations, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative!Meet Olwen! Olwen came into the shelter as a very shy and nervous guy who did take a while to adjust to his new surroundings. He lived communally at CRHS before going into a loving foster home (with his bestie Tansy). Here are some things his foster family has to say about him:"Olwen loves pets and affection, and I have gotten lots of nose boops from him. We have found he likes belly rubs and loves to play with wand toys even more than Tansy does. He is very curious, playful and snuggly. "Olwen loves seeking attention from his favorite humans and will beg until he gets all the love he can get! He also enjoys spending his time taking long cat naps, lounging up high in his cat tree, or relaxing next to a sunny window. Olwen does get startled by loud noised and fast movements, so he would do best in a low-key home with a cat savvy family where any children are at least 12 years of age or older. He LOVES spending time with his kitty friends and looks to them for comfort when he is stressed. So, he is required to go to a home with another cat. He may do ok with other calm and respectful pets in the home as well given very slow and proper introductions to one another. If you are interested in adopting, start by filling out an application on our website and email it to frontdesk@couleehumane.com OR you can print and drop off in person: https://www.couleehumane.com/adopt-an-animal?rq=application

Story
Felicity is a 9 month old spayed female. She is current on her vaccinations and microchipped!Meet Felicity! Felicity is a sweet and gentle young lady who adores spending time with her favorite people getting all the pets and snuggles she can get. She is rather mellow and easy-going for an older kitten and enjoys spending her days relaxing away whether she’s taking long cat naps or just simply lounging around. Every now and then though, she can be quite the goofy girl who likes to chase her toys around or go exploring. At the end of a long day though, she would definitely prefer to just hang out right by your side.Since Felicity is such a lovable and easy-going gal, she should do great in just about any home. This includes those with children of any age as well as other pets given slow and proper introductions to one another. If you are interested in adopting, start by filling out an application on our website and email it to frontdesk@couleehumane.com OR you can print and drop off in person: https://www.couleehumane.com/adopt-an-animal?rq=application

Story
Sir Gentlemeow is a 3 year old neutered male. He is current on his vaccinations and microchipped!Meet Sir Gentlemeow! This handsome boy is a shy, gentle soul who just needed a little time to settle in and feel safe. When he first arrived, he was pretty unsure of everything—but once he had a chance to decompress, his sweet side really started to shine through. He's now in a loving home and his foster mom says he’s been making so much progress—he’s now coming up to her for pets and even eating treats right out of her hand, which is a huge step for him. It’s been really rewarding to watch him grow more confident at his own pace.Sir Gentlemeow will likely need a bit of time to adjust in a new home, but he’s absolutely worth the patience. He enjoys calm companionship, gentle pets from his trusted people, and just hanging out nearby. He’s a mellow, low-key guy who would be perfectly happy with a cozy bed, a sunny window spot, and a nice high perch like a cat tree to quietly observe the world.Because he can still be a little jumpy with sudden movements or loud noises, he’s looking for a calm, quieter home where he can continue building his confidence. A cat-savvy family would be ideal, and any kids in the home should be at least 10 years old.He may do well with other respectful pets after slow, proper introductions—and in fact, he is required to go home with another cat, as having a feline friend helps him feel more secure and comfortable. If you are interested in adopting, start by filling out an application on our website and email it to frontdesk@couleehumane.com OR you can print and drop off in person: https://www.couleehumane.com/adopt-an-animal?rq=application

Story
Meet Hilo!! Hilo is a 1-year old neutered male. He is microchipped and up to date on his vaccinations. Hilo is currently in foster care as he was overwhelmed with shelter life. Once he settled into his foster home, he has opened up so much and is the biggest love bug! Hilo is highly food motivated and firmly believes that snacks are one of life’s greatest comforts — so a future home with plenty of tasty treats on hand is a must! When he’s not waiting for his next snack, Hilo enjoys lounging in cozy spots where he can relax and observe the world at his own pace. He does well with other cats and kittens and would absolutely love to have a feline friend in his forever home, though it’s not required. Hilo has had a couple of dogs in his foster home and has really enjoyed playing, and running around with them! Because Hilo needs a bit of extra patience and understanding as he acclimates, he’s best suited for an experienced cat owner rather than a first-time adopter and any kids in his new home should be 13+. New situations can be a bit overwhelming for him, so he’ll need a patient adopter who can start him off in a small, quiet space (like an office or bathroom) to help him feel safe and settled as he adjusts. If you are interested in adopting, start by filling out an application on our website and email it to frontdesk@couleehumane.com OR you can print and drop off in person: https://www.couleehumane.com/adopt-an-animal?rq=application

Story
Whalan is a 6 year old neutered male. He is current on his vaccinations, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative!***Whalen is bonded with his housemate Willie who is also available for adoption! So, this pair of handsome men are required to go home together - for ONE combined adoption fee!Meet Whalan! Whalan is certainly one of the sweetest guys you're ever going to meet!! He and his bonded buddy Willie complement each other perfectly. While Whalan is confident and social, Willie is more reserved and laid back. Whalan adores getting attention from his favorite people and is happiest when he can just simply relax right by your side. When you aren’t around though he also does just fine with his independence—especially since his pal Willie is always close by! He is a very mellow and low-key kitty who otherwise enjoys relaxing his days away whether he’s lounging next to a sunny window, catnapping in a cozy bed, or hanging out with Willie. While Whalan is the sweetest guy around, he does still startle on occasion and get stressed when there is a lot going on around him. So, he would do best in a bit of a calmer and quieter home with kids at least 5 years of age or older. He should do ok with other types of calmer and respectful pets in the home too given slow and proper introductions to one another. ***Thanks to a generous donation from Tika’s owners, all senior cat adoption fees are being sponsored through our Tika Senior Cat Adoption Promotion – including Supreme’s!Supreme is a 7 year old neutered male. He is current on his vaccinations and microchipped!Meet Supreme! Supreme is a more reserved and mellow man who may be a bit hesitant at first but all it takes is a few gentle pets to get his teddy bear to open up. Once he knows you, he absolutely adores head and chin scratches, and he will let out the cutest little chirps when he’s happy to see you! He is otherwise a low-key guy who only asks for a cozy cat bed to nap in, a comfy spot next to a window, and a relaxing place up high to lounge in while he takes in all his surroundings.Supreme would prefer a bit of a calmer and quieter home; so, any children in the house should be at least 5  years of age or older. He did come into the shelter with his housemates Baja and Crunch Wrap, and he enjoys their companionship so he would love to have another low-key kitty in the house to hang out with. He may do ok with other respectful pets in the home given slow and proper introductions to one another. If you are interested in adopting, start by filling out an application on our website and email it to frontdesk@couleehumane.com OR you can print and drop off in person: https://www.couleehumane.com/adopt-an-animal?rq=application
