He is happily living in a permanent foster home with another FIV+ cat, SWEETIE. HISTORY: JASSEN was surrendered to F&F for re-homing due to a cat allergy in his original household. TEMPERAMENT: JASSEN is a handsome young black and white cat. He is playful and friendly with nearly everyone he meets. He has done well with selected pets that enjoy his company. However, JASSEN previously experienced stress-induced GI issues and requires a low-stress household with easy-going feline or canine companionship. With time and love, he has turned into a wonderful, social cat who gets along with other cats and cat-friendly dogs. HISTORY: Mom cat BEAMER was found nursing her 6 kittens in a pile of pallets behind a Santa Fe auto dealership.  TEMPERAMENT: BEAMER nursed her kittens until they could be weaned and raised in a foster home. CABRIO is a fluffy girl, black with brown highlights and a gorgeous poofy tail. She can be shy at first, preferring to sit back and watch the action. However, when the wand toy comes out, CABRIO comes alive, leaping into action with abandon. CABRIO also very much enjoys Churu treats and will reward you with a big loud purr. Once comfortable in a home, she is curious and affectionate, coming when called and inviting tummy rubs. CABRIO loves other cats and would fare best with another young cat as a playmate. HISTORY: ELIXIR was living as a pregnant stray in Sombrillo when trapped and brought to F&F to help her obtain medical care and find a home. TEMPERAMENT: Initially, ELIXIR mostly hid her face and did not welcome human attention. With time, ELIXIR grew more comfortable with her caregivers, learning to trust and accept treats. When ELIXIR was joined by another young cat, the cats took to each other immediately, snuggling together.  Her foster parents report that ELIXIR is becoming more confident every day. She likes to sleep in the covered portion of the cat tree but has gradually grown more active around the house. She enjoys watching her friend LAVENDER play and will occasionally join in on the fun. ELIXIR's favorite is a toy mouse on a wand. She will ask her foster parents to pet her and also loves being brushed. ELIXER and LAVENDER will chatter throughout the day and will call out if they can't find one another. ELIXIR needs a gentle kitty friend in her forever home, preferably LAVENDER.
