Hello. My name is Wiley. I am about 4 years old. I am an orange and white boy with beautiful medium length fur. I was very scared and shy when I first came to the shelter not too long ago. I have several hooman friends that visit me often to try to get me to gain my confidence and come out of my shell. I slowly am starting to trust them and I have to admit it does feel nice when they spend time with me and gently caress me and talk to me. But I am still quite shy, so you’ll need to be patient with me. I mean, don’t expect me to just jump into your lap on first meeting, you know? I live with my friends Munchkin and Abby Rose here at the shelter who I came in with. They are much more outgoing than I am, but maybe someday I can be more like them. I just need a patient person to love me and work with me as I gain my confidence. Maybe it’s all this moving around to different places that’s scaring me. I just need a safe and loving home that I can call my own with a patient and loving hooman for my very own. Alice was given to me when i was 15 when we could have cats. After less than a year our apartment burned downed down and we had to move quickly. she stayed with my friend for two years and they couldn't take care of her anymore. I've tried everything to be able to keep her but sadly I have no other options than to try to rehome her permanently. She doesn't do well with Cats, Dogs or men because of my former stepdad terrorizing her. I hope she finds a home who will love her forever, the way I wish I could've. Please be patient with her and give her time to adjust, she's loving and affectionate when you earn her trust. She's got a cat tower that you can take that she absolutely loves, and i would hate for her to be separated from it.

I am the SWEETEST older gentleman, I love being held and getting so many pets and attention. I do very well with other cats and can often be found snuggled up with a friend in the cat trees. I did lose my fur for a bit due to being allergic to pine litter, but after switching to clay my coat is coming back in nicely! I am neutered, up to date on vaccines, treated for fleas/worms, and will be microchipped before I go home!
