Story
Crypta is a stunning, medium-haired black beauty who’s ready for the second chance she so deeply deserves. Found on the brink of death—skin and bones, with severe leg wounds—she survived thanks to the quick thinking of her rescuer and the dedicated care of the staff who immediately put her on a plan toward recovery. After stabilizing, Crypta moved into foster care, where her loving foster mom continued her healing journey with plenty of TLC, helping her legs grow stronger and her tiny frame fill out. Now, at just a year old, Crypta is fully ready for her next chapter: a forever home where she will be cherished as much as she has been throughout her recovery. She is gentle, sweet, affectionate, and good with other cats. Calm and quiet, she loves being petted, enjoys sleeping in bed with her people, and can be independent when she wants—though she always comes back for love. Crypta truly will make an excellent family cat and is more than ready to bring warmth and gratitude into the heart of her new home.

Story
Winnie is the sweetest baby! She has been so good to us. She loves us so much but she stopped using the litter box. We have been putting her in a cat condo at night since that is typically when she pees and poops all over the house. She uses the litter box in the condo. We have 6 cats and 2 dogs. She was the 3rd cat and the vet just thinks that she’s stressed and needs a home with less animals. We would rehome the younger cats but there’s no guarantee she’s going to stop and they are the cats my kids are the closest to. This is the only issue she has. She’s a wonderful kitty and we HATE not having her home with us. I just need peace and shouldn’t have to search for pee, daily, all over my house and on my kids belongings. It’s not fair to anyone in the house and Winnie shouldn’t have to be stuck in a cat condo, either. Shots, adoption fee, and spay were very expensive and the reason for the adoption fee on here. Please give my baby a chance at a better life!

Story
Tumbleweed is a charming young tabby with soft, medium-length fur and a heart full of curiosity. With his striking stripes and gentle eyes, he’s not only handsome, but also full of potential as a loving companion. He enjoys quiet moments, and loves to keep a watchful eye on his environment here with us in the lobby. He`s still getting to know the world and is looking for a home where he can continue to build confidence and settle in at his own pace.Since we don’t have any background on how Tumbleweed does with other cats, dogs, or children, we recommend a thoughtful introduction to any new friends. Come meet him and see if your heart and home are the perfect fit during our open walk-in hours of Wednesday-Sunday: 12:00-4:30 PM (Thursday: 12:00-6:30 PM)You can also reach our adoptions team:by email: adoptions@spcaonline.comby phone (during open hours): 607-257-1822 x221

Story
Bonnie came to stay with us from a home with too many cats. He`s shy but friendly, so do go slow if you want to meet him. If you go into his room and sit and talk softly, he will come down off his shelf (if he`s up there) and allow you to pet him. He`s been caught snuggling on a high cloud with his roomie, Pirate Foxy, a time or 2, so we think he`ll do fine in a home with other cats (with a proper introduction, of course). We don`t have any history with him and dogs or kids, but our adoptions teams is ready to give you all the information you`ll need to ensure a happy and safe introduction. If you`d like to make Bonnie part of your family, stop by the adoption center Wednesday-Sunday 12-4:30 (Thursday 12-6:30).You can also reach our adoptions team:by email: adoptions@spcaonline.comby phone (during open hours): 607-257-1822 x221
