Story
Aurora is a beautiful calico girl with a name that means “dawn”—the first light of a new beginning. And that’s exactly what she’s hoping for: a fresh start with a family who understands her pace, her personality, and her gentle heart. She’s an independent spirit who enjoys companionship on her own terms, and she has done well living an indoor–outdoor lifestyle. Give her a safe window perch or a sunny yard to explore, and she’ll be perfectly content. This lovely girl especially appreciates adults and the calm, predictable routines they offer. She thrives in a peaceful environment where she can feel secure, understood, and respected. If you’re looking for a sweet, steady companion who blooms with patience and kindness, Aurora might just be the dawn of something wonderful.

Story
Estefan is a sleek, all-black handsome with a quiet soul and a heart full of potential. He is a bit reserved at first, but he’s been making progress with the shelter team. One thing Estefan absolutely loves? Other cats! He’s often found snuggled up with his feline roommate or engaging in gentle play sessions. Estefan is what we call a “support-cat kitty”—he thrives in the company of other confident cats who help him feel safe and secure. If you’re looking to add a quiet companion to your feline family, Estefan might just be your perfect match. With time, patience, and a little help from his cat friends, Estefan is ready to blossom in a loving forever home.

Story
It’s a Wonderful Life is a beautiful long-haired tabby with a soft coat and an even softer heart. At around 3 years old, he came to ACS as a stray and is now waiting for someone special who will give him the time, patience, and understanding he needs to truly shine. He’s a gentle soul who can be slow to warm up in new situations, but once trust is built, his sweet personality begins to unfold. He especially enjoys calm moments and gentle head pets, which are rewarded with quiet, soothing purrs. He’s not a cat who rushes affection—instead, he prefers to form meaningful bonds at his own pace. In a peaceful home with a patient adopter, It’s a Wonderful Life will grow more confident each day and become a loyal, loving companion. His journey may have started on the streets, but with the right person, his future truly can be a wonderful life.

Story
Emotion was rescued from under a trailer in Tioga County, PA and he was one of the last kittens to be caught because he was a bit skittish! Emotion has now grown into a handsome adult cat (although he remains small and petite in size) with a medium marble and white coat and HUGE eyes!!! He can be shy at first and tends to enjoy hiding and sleeping cuddled up to other cast but with a calm and gentle hand, he will come out of his shell and will approach people that he has had a chance to build a relationship with and knows well. Emotion has always been one of our favorites if the truth be known! He tends to be a sensitive sou.. This guy would do best in a home with another confident cat or kitten as a companion! He would also like to go to a home where he can eat plenty of canned cat food because he tends to be very food motivated and this brings him out of his shell! (He will even become very vocal over it!!! It's very cute and comical!) Emotion will need a patient and calm adopter who is dedicated to helping bring out the best in him and who will be focused on helping him feel safe and at home in a new setting! Emotion has come a long way while in our care but will need to have continued socialization with people. NO YOUNG CHILDREN for this kitten as he would do best in a quiet and calm home--no more chaos for this sweet boy! An experienced adopter would probably be best but not necessarily required as long as they are understanding, patient, and committed. Emotion does great with other cats and kittens and we are REQUIRING that he goes to a home with another cat or kitten companion to keep him company, help bring him out of his shell, and help him feel comfortable! Emotion will be introduced to a large, cat-friendly dog while in our care but again, only CALM dogs who know their place would be appropriate in a home with him. Emotion will have been neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, flea treated, FIV/FeLV/HW tested negative, and microchipped at his time of adoption! Interested adopters can submit an application by contacting HobosHome2020@yahoo.com or by sending us a message and we will send you the necessary form!

Story
We don't know much about Gramps' past but we can tell that he is an old soul who led a long, rough lifestyle before coming to us! Although we don't know his age for sure, Gramps is most likely a senior cat. He was missing most of his teeth by the time that he was rescued and neutered. Gramps tends to be a gentle soul who just wants to relax and enjoy his golden years! Sadly, Gramps was injured and missing lots of hair on his face when we first met him but the hair is growing back now and we think it was probably due to having to defend himself against other unfixed male cats when he used to live outdoors. (Life for unfixed outdoor male cats is very difficult!) Gramps really enjoys love from people as well as wet food! He has a hearty appetite! Since coming to us, Gramps has been ok with other cats while here in our care... He can coexist as needed but does seem to be a little dominant at times so he would probably be best as an only cat. He adjusted very well to an indoor life after most likely living his entire previous life outside. He tends to enjoy just chilling and relaxing! He is a very calm cat but will play at times and will chase balls around! Gramps prefers a home without dogs! Let's find this old man the perfect home to spend his senior years in! He deserves for his golden years to be as golden as his coat! Gramps has been neutered, is up to date on vaccines, dewormed, flea treated, FIV/FeLV/HW tested negative, and microchipped! He is ready for adoption NOW!!! Interested adopters can submit an application by contacting HobosHome2020@yahoo.com or by sending us a message and we will send you the necessary form!
