Olive (Livvy/Liv) is a very sweet, shy girl. She doesn’t appreciate loud noises or kids. She prefers her own space, but once warmed up to you she will come around and say hi often. She is a good bathroom partner and will check up on you to make sure you’re okay. She loves soft things to lay on, especially blankets. She also thoroughly enjoys a good cat scratching post.

Ying arrived at Paws Animal Shelter when his former owner was killed in an auto accident. He needs a new loving home. Ying is very friendly and loves treats! He was obviously used to getting a lot of attention and misses that. It would be wonderful if he could find a new family. If you can take in a loving cat who just wants another person or family to love him, please consider Ying. I put that Ying has special needs, because he has a bone marrow issue, but it is easily treated with daily medication. Ying is a favorite with all our regular volunteers and staff because of his sweet, loving nature. I am being showcased by the Humane Society of Morrow County in an effort to find me a permanent home. Myself and my siblings were left in a cardboard box on the edge of someone’s property. Without being rescued we all would have certainly perished. Luckily, we were found just in time and brought here for all the TLC we needed. I’m a little skittish at first, but I can be curious, playful and excited for my furever home. Here are my highlights: I am a spayed female born in May of 2025. I have been wormed, negative tested for FLV/FIV, vaccinated with the Felovax or FVRP vaccine. I am microchipped. I am good with other cats but not yet dog tested. I can be skittish at first but just need a little time to warm up.
