Story
We took Ray in during the spring of 2020. My daugher moved back in with me and brought her four cats. Her female cat chases him around and causes him a lot of stress. We have tried different things from the vet but I think he needs a good home with just him as the cat.

Story
My name is Basil and I'm patiently awaiting a new family. I was rescued from right in front of Groovy Plants. You know the cool plant place that folks come from far and wide to visit? I was named after a favorite herb plant myself. Pretty cool huh? Well I've learned a lot during my tenure here at the HSofMC but it's time to move on to bigger and better things. A family to love, a home to settle in and arms to cuddle with. I get along with other cats, not dog tested, good with all people including children. I'm affectionate but quiet. You can visit me at The ARC at 16 S Main St. Mt Gilead. Can't wait to meet you!!

Story
FELV+ Sweetie is FeLV+ and is healthy, active and loveable!!  She is used to other cats and can live with other FeLV+ cats with ease!  In fact, she loves the 10 year old cat in her foster home, following him around and they clean each other.  She is ready for her forever home and would love to be adopted with another FeLV+ cat to hang with.  Sweetie will do best in a home with another affectionate cat to pal around with.   DOB:5/26/2023 One of the biggest misconceptions about feline leukemia, which suppresses a cat’s immune system, is that it is an automatic death sentence. There are many variables, however, that come into play that determine how FeLV will affect a particular cat.  To learn more about this condition visit:  https://resources.bestfriends.org/article/feline-leukemia-felv-faqs.  **This cat is currently in a foster home and arrangements can be made for a meeting once you have applied with us. All cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and tested for FIV/FeLV. If interested in adopting me, please fill out an online adoption application at https://colonycats.org/adoption_app.html to expedite the process. Due to the large number of inquiries received, we are unable to respond to emails quickly.**April 23, 2024, 5:58 pm
