Meet Teddy! Teddy came in through the cruelty department when his owner became overwhelmed with the amount of cats in her care. He was recently returned for not getting along with one of the resident cats in the home, but this easy going guy is now ready for his furrever home! Teddy spent some time in foster care for our annual Home for the Holidays program and was described as cautious, but mellow! He did ok with the other cats, and although shy at first, warmed up to the older kids in his home as well! He likes head pets and scratches, the scratching post, and curling up in a nice warm bed! He will tell you when he's had enough, and will "love bite" ever so gently...but then come back for more when he's ready!Teddy seems to be happiest with all the attention on him, talking and soliciting attention much more than when other cats are around. This fluffy dude spent some time curled up in a chair at the THS thrift store for a bit!! He would love to go to a quiet home without too much commotion where he can people watch from atop a tall cat tree!Teddy is, as his foster describes him, "a distinguished, handsome gentleman. He has very handsome features including his wide-set eyes, broad nose, and large paws. He tends to stay fairly quiet, but began to "talk" more when he was with me one-on-one. When his foster sister tried to steal all of my attention, Teddy would keep out of her way and let her push him around a bit, never wanting to argue with such a strong female personality. Instead, he's a gentle giant with a sweet temperament that is starting to really know what love from a person is like. He hasn't let me hold him yet, but he has taken a liking to sitting on my chair, and started to stay on the chair with me when I sat down. He shares it with me for a few seconds before hopping down to rub against my legs. I'm hoping soon he will be ok with sitting on my lap! He was born without a tail but is full of energy and loves other cats (our other cat isnt as rowdy so Nio would be paired better with other playful cats). He’s a good boy but just needs some new friends who match his energy. He sometimes gets in bitey moods when hes hyper but is very snuggly and loving.

Serrano, Anaheim, and Jalapeno were found born to an outdoor cat. Mama has been spayed and now her babies need homes! This bunch was very spicy when they came in, but have been coming around! We are working on getting them to gain some weight, they'll be spayed and neutered at 2lbs, and then can go home! If you are interested in fostering prior to adoption, submit an application! Sweet Zinnia and Marigold were found abandoned on the side of the road with 3 babies, covered in fleas, and very skinny. They now have a clean bill of health, are spayed, and sweetest cats you'll ever meet. They don't have any issues with dogs or other cats, and have been very tolerant with kids.
