Story
This shy but sweet boy is Maximillian. He and his brother, Grayson, came to us after their owner could no longer care for them. He and his brother got too stressed when a dog joined the family, and to keep them separated, their owner had the cats living in the basement instead. Their owner felt it was unfair for them and decided to surrender them to the shelter in hopes they can find a better home. They were infested with fleas when they came to us, and they overgroomed themselves as a result of being allergic. They are currently being treated, and- slowly but surely- their fur is growing back as well. If you are interested in adopting Maximillian, please fill out a pre-adoption application at https://angelsforanimals1.wufoo.com/forms/cat-preadoption-questionaire/ and once approved, someone will call you to set up an appointment!

Story
Hi there, I`m Monica! I am a gentle, affectionate kitty with a heart full of love and a story to tell.I first arrived at the shelter about five years ago as a stray, but my life changed when a kind person adopted me. I loved my new home and adored my owner, but sometimes life takes unexpected turns. When she had to move to an apartment where I couldn`t come along, her mom took me in. Unfortunately, one of the other cats in the home and I didn’t see eye to eye, and it was clear I needed a different place to truly thrive. So, here I am again hoping this time I’ll find my true forever home.I’m a sweet, affectionate girl who absolutely loves attention. Whether it’s cuddling on the couch, greeting guests at the door, or simply being near my people, I love being part of the action. I’m often called a couch potato, but I prefer the term “professional companion.”Here’s a little more about me:•I’ve done great with children ages 10 and up.•I lived with a dog before — we mostly did our own thing but got along just fine.•I’m said to do better with male cats, but honestly, I’d probably shine brightest as your one and only feline friend.I’ve been through a lot of changes, but I’ve never lost my loving spirit. If you`re looking for a loyal, snuggly, and sweet companion to fill your home with warmth and affection, I just might be your girl.Come meet me and you will see that I can be the best friend you have always wanted! With love,MonicaThe Adoption Fee Includes:- initial feline distemper combination vaccination- first deworming or stool check- rabies vaccination (for animals over 3 months of age)- 24 Petwatch microchipping- flea treatment/preventative- spaying or neuteringAdoption Cost: $75.00FELV/FIV Testing provided for an additional fee of $35.00. Encouraged for multi cat household.

Story
Meet Kingston! Age: 5 years Breed: Handsome Black CatKingston is a soft-hearted gentleman who sadly had to be surrendered when his owner’s work schedule kept them away too much. This change has been a lot for him, and he’s been feeling pretty scared in the shelter environment — but even through the nerves, he still allows gentle pets and tries his best to be brave. He’s a shy boy who is learning to trust again, taking everything at his own quiet pace. What he needs most is a calm, patient home where he can settle in slowly and rediscover what it feels like to relax. If you’re the kind of person who appreciates tender, gentle souls with big expressive eyes, Kingston might be your perfect match. With kindness and time, this sweet boy is sure to blossom into a loyal companion. The Adoption Fee Includes:- initial feline distemper combination vaccination- first deworming or stool check- rabies vaccination (for animals over 3 months of age)- 24 Petwatch microchipping- flea treatment/preventative- spaying or neuteringAdoption Cost: $75.00FELV/FIV Testing provided for an additional fee of $35.00. Story
Bambi is a soft-spoken white and brown tabby with a big heart hiding behind her cautious exterior. She’s often nervous in new places or when meeting new people, so she tends to keep to herself at first — quiet corners, safe spots, and slow introductions are where she feels most at ease. But when she begins to feel safe and secure, you’ll see glimpses of the sweet, gentle soul she really is: the way she watches you with curious eyes, or quietly takes a treat placed nearby. She thrives in calm, peaceful households with gentle voices and slow movements — loud noises or sudden changes still make her jumpy. Bambi isn’t a cat who will demand attention, but she’s more likely to come around in her own time, offering gentle purrs, soft nuzzles, or the quiet comfort of sharing a sun-lit window. If you’re patient and kind, and willing to give her the trust she needs, Bambi will reward you with loyalty, gentleness, and a forever friendship that grows slowly — but deeply. Story
Skittles is a grey little firecracker with kitten-energy to spare — always ready for a wild game of chase, a feather toy ambush, or a daring leap onto the couch. He’s full of curiosity and loves discovering new hiding spots, pouncing on random shadows, and exploring every corner of the room like it’s uncharted territory. When he’s not zooming around, Skittles turns into a soft, purring cuddle-bug who melts into your lap or curls up beside you for a nap. He’s playful, affectionate, and totally irresistible — the kind of kitten who fills the house with giggles, mischief, and warmth. If you’re up for constant entertainment and sweet kitten cuddles, Skittles just might be your perfect little companion. One of the biggest and most exciting times in anyone`s life is adopting a new kitten!
