Story
Greg and Marsha are a bonded pair of 5 year old cats that need a quieter, loving home to enjoy. These coy felines were brought to the shelter after their owner passed away. Shelter life has been pretty stressful for them, so we haven't seen too much of their personalities. So far they really enjoy snuggling together, their beds on their cat tree, and looking out the window at birds flying by. If you have a little patience and a big heart than come, see these two adorable cats today! *All adoption candidates have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, micro chipped, flea treated and wormed! Adoptions include a free veterinary visit and 20% off coupon from the Feed Corral on Highway 101. Dogs in the home must be current on their rabies vaccination and licensed with the county in which you reside; and if you rent, we need landlord permission for the adoption by phone, email, or copy of a rental agreement. You may place an animal on hold for a fee of $10.00 per day for 2 days (48hrs.) the shelter or by phone. Phone messages will be returned in the order they are received. We are open Tuesdays through Saturdays, noon to 5 pm. You may reach us at 541-265-6610 x 6 or lcanimalshelter@co.lincoln.or.us for more information.

Story
***By appointment only*** Please e-mail us at shelter@hbpets.org for an appointment*** Meet Fluffy, she is a 4yr old, spayed female. Fluffy was surrendered with her brother Noodle in December 2022. They had an amazing owner who took wonderful care of them, but she had to go into hospice care. Our sweet Fluffy has IBS and while she lived her quiet life with her owner it was not an issue, but between her living temporarily with family and then coming to the shelter, she had a major flare up, it has taken a few months to get her to a healthy weight again and be ready for adoption. Fluffy will need to stay on her Hill's I/D food and may occasionally need steroids, if she has a flare up. Fluffy would love a quieter, low key, home, where she can be the Queen of the castle and receive all your love. She doesn't mind other cats and tolerates dogs, she prefers children over 13yrs. She would love a home with tons of windows so she can bird watch. She loves to get affection and is an amazingly sweet cat. Adoption fee $85: This includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccines, microchip + 1 year membership paid for, dewormer, flea treatment and a 1 pound bag of food they are currently on.

*** You don't need an appointment to visit our cats, here is what you need to know: 1. Cats are avaible to visit Thursday-Saturday 10am-4pm. 2. Proof of home ownership must be brought with you, i.e a mortgage statement or property tax or home owners insurance 3. If you are a renter, you must have a letter from your landlord stating you can have a cat, pet policy and or pet agreement are not sufficient. 4. Debit/Credit or cash for adoption 5. Cat carrier, we have card board ones for $5 6. You can place a hold on a cat, due to people not returning we will be charging $25 to hold, this will be taken off your adoption fee. Meet Alloy, Iron, Steel, Tin and Zinc, this 5 cats were left in a wire kennel outside our clinic after closing for the weekend, luckily a team member had come in the next morning and found them. These 5 cats were left with no way to protect themselves or get away if a predator had come, left out in the cold, left terrified. As the shelter was already at capacity they stayed in an exam room at our clinic, it took a few days before they stopped huddling together in the corner, only coming out to eat and use the litter box when they felt it was safe. We believe Zinc to be the mom (age 1.5yrs), she is the shyest of them all, , the other 4 litter mates (age 11mths), they are very sweet, still a little shy, but are coming aorund beautifully. Adoption fee $100: This includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccines, microchip + 1 year membership paid for, dewormer, flea treatment and a 1 pound bag of food they are currently on.

Story
Hello, This stray momma cat had kittens in my Grandpa’s garage, she wasn’t chipped or had any apparent owner so I took her and the babies in. They were all in pretty rough shape but have since been treated by the vet and are thriving. They are about 5-6 weeks old so they should be ready to go from mama at the end of May. I’m not trying to sell them but if you want to take 1 or both I would really appreciate some monetary compensation as their vet bills have been very expensive. They do not have to be a package deal but whats better than 1 kitten? 2 kittens. Super sweet little boys.
