Story
Nikita is a 5 month old, spayed, microchipped and vaccinated kitten.  She has pretty makings on her predominantly black coat with big round eyes. Nikita has very unique fur, long and black with some golden leopard pattern highlights. She is a bit competitive with other cats, and very much needs a home where she has at least one person all to herself. Nikita is a very person-oriented cat, and loves nothing more than some good pets.  She might be best as an only cat but she has successfully lived with other teen kittens and young adults.   Indoor only Hillsboro foster home.  $200 adoption fee.  Nikita is vaccinated, spayed and microchipped and negative for FIV and FelV.  You will be offered a 30-day free medical insurance policy for her. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Your information will be forwarded to the foster parent for follow-ups and meeting arrangement.   Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. Story
FIV Positive This gentle giant, named Fuzzy, by his feeder, has been roaming the streets of Albany, crying to be let inside. Obviously, he was previously owned and been abandoned, atleast, since September. It is hard to believe anyone would let this gem go. He loves the comfort of being held close, alot, and purrs and purrs in your arms. Anyone would be lucky and happy to get this guy. He gets along with everyone and receives and gives head butts with his other feline friends. He craves attention and just wants to love on you. He loves and knows what a cat tree is. And uses the litterbox purrfectly, no problems. He deserves a loving and caring, safe home. We have not tested him with dogs yet. And assume he will be fine with cat-educated children with supervision. In October, Fuzzy got neutered, eartipped, tested negative for FelV, but positive for FIV. He can live a purrfectly healthy long life with FIV, if given preventive care - seeing a vet atleast 1x/yr. He is non aggressive, so that works fine with other non aggressive cats. But if you have a bully male who likes to defend it's territory, then that would not be suitable with FIV+ cats. It is because deep bite wounds are how, typically, the virus is passed to others. He also got vaccinated with FVRCP, (treats/prevents Distemper, Herpes, & URIs).and Rabies shot. Flea treated monthly and dewormed. He will be microchipped at time of adoption. All medical records provided upon adoption and we deliver him to your home for the meet and greet. We are asking for a donation of $120 for the adoption fee. Please will you give this guy a great indoor only life?   For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Story
Hello, my name is Pete!! I'm a really nice looking guy about 1 year old.  I am neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and tested (neg/neg) and alI I need is a loving home.  I get along ok with other cats (I currently live with a bunch of them…) but would rather be an only cat and would love to have all the attention from my special people.     I was probably dumped or lost outside when I was little because my rescuer says I was friendly with people from the very beginning.  I know how to use the litter box (always!) and I know how to “play nice” but sometimes I pounce and want to play rough and not all of my new cat friends think that is fun like I do.  My foster thinks I'm pretty special and she is looking for  someone to adopt me so I can always be safe indoors.  $125 rehoming fee.   For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Your information will be forwarded to the foster parent for follow-ups and meeting arrangement. Story
Ally, the brown short hair tabby girl: She is a very active but a tender purr baby, who loves attention. She is not bothered by other kitties or a cat friendly dog and seems to be well adjusted to new surroundings.Ally is a talker and even likes to play with water.  She does have a younger buddy, Ava who is a medium orange tabby. Ava is just about 2 weeks younger then Ally. She is a bit smaller in size but can play like there is no tomorrow with her sister. She will always run to greet you along with Ally. She loves to be carried like a baby and will give you lots of kisses and touch your face and hair gently like she just wants to show you how much she adores you. Both kittens are kids friendly and very gentle. They were rescued together when they were much smaller, so they have become accustomed to each other and have been together since they were born. Most likely they are half sisters having the same daddy cat. Often times they snuggle up, run about and explore together. If you are looking for a social female pair, then these two may be a great fit for you. These kittens are very social, happy, playful and purr babies, but would do best in a home with children 6 years or older who are kitty gentle.  If they are adopted separately it would be best if they were adopted into a home with another young feline who needs a playmate and buddy. Keep yourself entertained and loved....consider adopting them together. The adoption fee for a pair is $300 and single is $200 For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under 'ADOPT' on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Your information will be forwarded to the foster parent for follow-ups and meeting arrangement.
