He came to SCAT as a tail amputee, and had lost his self confidence along with it. Over the last few months he has gained that back, and become such a cuddly, playful boy, but is still skittish with new things. He is slowly but surely becoming more animated with his fosters, and has recently started meowing hello when they come in the room.He will need lots of time to warm up to a new person, and should be placed in an enclosed location where he can’t hide from his new family, and is easily approached for pets and interactions. He is missing his tail, and so may have sensitivity in that area.

He lost the tips of both ears to frostbite, and was quite nervous about being inside at first. Now he is the calmest, easiest to care for boy, and charms everyone with his big, handsome face.Darren loves meals and treats, although he doesn`t need treats. He likes napping, but will be very playful when he finds a toy he likes. He is great with other cats, and even tolerates ones that are rude to him like his current foster sister.Darren would be happy with or without other cat friends, and would do great in a quiet household where people don`t expect too much cuddling. He still thinks of himself as a tough street cat, but will tolerate his foster family scooping him up for hugs.Any special needs or traits the adopter should know about? (we may add this to the bio):
