Story
Skamps has trauma as her only owner of 8 years died unexpectedly. I took my mom's cat in because there was no one else and I couldn't bare the thought of leaving her at a shelter. She does not like other cats and will not adjust. She was an only animal in a quiet environment with my them 60 year old mom. I have tried everything. She will pee outside of the litter box as she is terrified of my other cats. Terrified of dogs. This cat has anxiety. She needs someone with a quiet environment and someone who is very patient and knows this is going to be a challenge. I haven't tried meds. I will get her an antianxiety med before adoption. Please understand the fee. The fee is for protection of the cat only. The fee will be directly donated to Dorchester Paws, Summerville, SC.

Story
This lovely lady is 4 years old, has medium length silky fur, the goldest of eyes, and wiskers for days. She has warmed up to her foster momma and may take time but will warm up to her forever person as well. Her family could no longer keep her and reached out for help. If the cat is under the age of 9 months old or has heath issues, a vet reference is required which means you must own a pet or have owned a pet in your name. Adoption fee of $110. covers all vetting including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, FIV/FELV test and any other medical that may be required while in rescue. Please email Lowcountryanimalrescue@ymail.com for an application.

Story
I have a 7-year-old male cat, in need of a new home. He's neutered and vaccinated with up-to-date microchipping and litter training. Very friendly towards people; loves attention and cuddles! Unfortunately, I can't bring him along due to moving (have tried my best). Located in Charleston, SC. He is FIV + It's so sad that there's still stigma around FIV+ cats. 😔 But you know what? They can live happy and healthy lives with proper care and love. FIV is not easily transmitted to other cats, especially in a home environment. In fact Pine has been the healthiest cat I’ve ever had.

Story
Meet our momma, Market! This little beauty came to us from our rural shelter partner with her little basket of veggies. This little family are growing like weeds and so happy to be out of the shelter! All are medium/long hair little kitties and momma is super social and loves everyone and everything, so if babies are anything like their momma they will be little lovies! All are working on litter box training, are getting updated on their vaccinations, microchipped, spayed/neutered and fully vetted! All kitties can start heading home the beginning of May! If interested in adopting apply today via our website at www.dustytailsanimalrescue.org
